“The premises are well kept, with just a few potential renovations needed, but excellent overall. The staff was always very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and relatively silent, considering that I was on floor level in front of the main street. Breakfast was abundant and varied.”

“We loved the spacious 2 story penthouse. It had 3 accommodating beds and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was clean and convenient and it had a full size fridge! We didn’t see any elevators, so be prepared to carry luggage upstairs if you’re staying in the second floor. I’m sure they would accommodate anyone who needs the ground floor for accessibility.”

“As all of the hotels we have visited along our southern California trip, this is an older hotel that has recently under gone major a renovation. Our room was wonderful. Best place we have stayed in so far on our trip! They are still working on the remodel but seems like the majority of the rooms are complete. Great location near eateries and shopping and 15 minutes from the ocean. We had a great stay. Enjoyed it and would recommend 👌.”

“The rooms were absolutely disgusting and extremely dirty. Food crumbs in every drawer, the blanket was burnt with a big hole in it, there was mucus in the sheet, the floors were dirty, the rooms stank, the shower and bathroom had urine all over. The stay at front desk was kind and extremely embarrassed by the pics and room conditions and issued refund.”

“The room was very clean. Clean bathroom and shower. Bed was nicely arranged. Even though there was no closet space, that did not prevent my wife and I to experience a comfortable overnight stay. No complaints. Staff was very friendly. There are many shops and restaurants to choose. A very family friendly atmosphere. I would stay there again.”
