Our unique Vistalmar private seaside-deck offers an excellent access to the ocean with is private small beach. Just a few steps from your bed into the ocean. You can either jump in the water from our private seaside sundeck, enjoy the area's water with scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, and swimming or just relax and tan on the Vistalmar seaside sundeck. Don't miss out on most beautiful sunsets.

We were very grateful that we were allowed to check in early as we had a gap in time from our prior place to this check in. There are two pools which were clean, the unit was clean, linens were very nice & AC worked well. We thought $25 to use washer/dryer was pretty excessive for 3 days, easy parking, $20 for taxi to airport. Now about the dogs, they are friendly and mind their business, however, if you are sensitive to noise while sleeping you may want to bring some ear plugs as they do bark periodically throughout the night. Probably just doing their job but it did wake us up. Would stay there again as it is close to airport and very clean.

Host was great and helpful. Place was clean. My major complaint was the owners barking dogs all night kept us up alot. The area is right near the airport, so you must have a car to get around. Private Beach area isn't a beach at all. You do get what you pay for in this location. If you want a cheaper place thats clean, not on ocean, don't mind driving to every location, this is for you.

My husband & I booked a 29 stay at Vistalmar in Jan. 2026. We conversed thru WhatsApp with the owner and thought we had a good idea of what to expect. She gave us good information about getting around on the island and accessing the property. The rooms were large & clean.The grounds are beautiful & the pools were clean. The problems were 2 fold. 1st- there is no beach. Images posted by the owner on VRBO are misleading making the waterfront area seem a private oasis when in actuality the water is not at all inviting & there is no place to put a chair on the sand. The dock area is OK although it needs some repair work. There is a very large, ugly, deserted boat blocking a good bit of the view of the water. The actual Mangel Halto Beach is quite a bit further south & not walkable. As suggested, you must rent a car or expect long walks followed by bus rides or expensive cabs. We had hoped to only rent a car part of the time but ended up with one the full trip.The second, most disturbing issue is the dog problem. My husband & I love dogs. If you do not, stop now and do not even consider this property. Despite what is advertised, there were eight, yes 8 dogs on the property the day we arrived. They are friendly & smart.They are also bored with nothing better to do than chase cars & bikes & bark & BARK. In the morning & several times thru the night. BARK BARK! I suggest the owner take the dogs to her home, remove the water & food bowls so she can have them keep her up all night.

Love Aruba

Loved the fish house and location for south side of the island. Vivian and the yacht club was amazing. Home its self was very minimal. Not a lot of bells and whistle. Large bedroom and the pool out back was very nice. Very accurate about lots of dogs. They were all very sweet but barked a lot.

Very Relaxing and peaceful

The accommodation was very nice, very clean on a quiet dead end street with very little traffic but only 20 minutes from almost any beach we wanted to visit. The only problem is there are a lot of friendly dogs in the area that likes to chase 2 wheeled bikes. There is an excellent bar/ restaurant walking distance and we are there twice. People are so friendly and welcoming here. We will visit again in the future

Everything was wonderful!

I was first impressed by the clear and helpful communication from our host. When we arrived I was also impressed by the cleanliness. The suite had everything we needed and was well maintained and updated. The photos are accurate, it’s a beautiful place and we enjoyed every second! We were treated kindly and appreciated the staff and host very much. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

Nice place with water view and private dock

Loved this spacious, clean rental unit with a large balcony, water view and private dock for swimming and relaxing. Even though it is fairly close to the airport, it is a quiet neighborhood. The Fish House restaurant is just down the street - with delicious food and a water view. There are some dogs on the property that are very polite and sweet, and we really enjoyed them.

The condo was really nice and comfortable, we loved the pool and the private dock and beach area. I do have a suggestion that you should have written instructions for how to use the stove, not everyone has used an induction stove before.

Out of the way Gem

Place was clean and bigger than pics shown. If you want a nice inexpensive place and plan on driving to places around the island, this is the place to be. The Fish House down was amazing and gave us a discount both times we went. There are dogs around the property, but very friendly and never bothered us. The pool was refreshing. We had a little trouble with checking in, but was resolved very quickly. Would definitely go back.

Nice Unit with marina views

Unit was nice and clean and we enjoyed our stay. Although the dogs were a bit much, but very friendly. Private dock was nice and relaxing. You'll need a car as your away from the beaches. We enjoyed the Fish House across the street and booked a day sail with Dushi Life with marina by the Fish House. Everyone was super friendly and we had a wonderful vacation.

Amazing Aruba by the Sea

The total process was very streamlined. Property was as advertised. Hosts were very responsive. They provided extra amenities that could be used on and off property. If you do not mind the location you will have a nice stay in Aruba.

First Aruba Vacation

Clean and tidy rooms. As pictured. Bed sleot comfortable. Shower was great. Loved the water! The aloe soaps a plus. Beach, dock is across the street. Relaxation setup, not necessarily ideal for swimming. The host is amazing and will help you with anything. Side note, there are stray dogs. Don't be alarmed they are all over the island. Host will let you know which one belongs on the property. I enjoyed the pup's company on the balcony 😀

It was a very clean place. The neighborhood was great!

We were very comfortable there. Only thing we didn't like was all the stray cats that kept coming up to our door. The restaurant that was on the pier down the street called the fish house was very good. Which the host recommended to us and they gave us a 10% discount. Pool was too cold to get in.

Anniversary trip

Great experience! Esther was an awesome host. She was quick to respond to any questions, and has great knowledge of the area and recommended some great spots to check out on the island. The property is clean and well located in a quiet neighbourhood.
