A few things, First we noticed that our room door was not locking but they explained that they had changed the locks and there was a malfunction so they moved us to another room which was fine. Then, I had accidentally made a small burn on the blanket when ironing as I didn’t know you had to request an ironing board if you needed one (they do not provide them in the rooms), so I made them aware and they charged my card to replace the blanket, also fine. After we left the hotel they sent me a message accusing me of damaging their iron. I explained that the burn on the blanket was super small and there was no need for me to damage the iron to get it off. I simply pulled it off. They sent me a picture of a scratched up iron, which is exactly what the iron looked like before we got there. I explained that the damage was there before I used it and that I wouldn’t lie about damaging the iron as I was very quick to inform them about the blanket. They went ahead to charge my card again for the iron and completely ignored me. It’s important to note that upon arriving, they insisted on writing my credit card information down on a sheet of paper (this is their policy to prevent people from disputing transactions but is a serious security risk in my opinion). Anyways I would not recommend and will not be returning as I did not appreciate how they handled this.
Overall the rooms are fine, it’s more of an Airbnb than a hotel as you have a mini apartment.
