LE ZERBLET - ORELLE - Gîte

In the heart of the Maurienne Valley and at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, Orelle offers a peaceful setting nestled between mountains and nature, just 4 km from the Orelle gondola, which provides direct access to the 3 Vallées ski area (the world’s largest ski area with 600 km of slopes). In winter, a free shuttle (during school breaks) stops 100 m from the cottage to take you to the gondola. A 2-km walk takes you to a convenience store (open during school breaks) and a bread shop, making your stay more convenient. All shops, supermarkets, and the train station are located in Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne (10 km) or Modane (15 km). Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the paved forest trail starting right from the cottage, perfect for walks, sledding, or hiking, depending on the season. Nearby, try cross-country skiing in Aussois or Valloire, fishing at Lake Karellis, Lake Bissorte, or in the Arc River, or swimming at the pools in Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne (10 km), Modane (15 km), or at the residence (2 km). Horseback riding enthusiasts will find what they’re looking for in Saint-Julien-Montdenis. An ideal starting point for exploring the Maurienne region, recharging in the mountains, and enjoying an active or relaxing vacation—whether as a couple, with family, or with friends. Located at the gateway to the magnificent Haute-Maurienne Vanoise region, Le Zerblet is a charming, comfortably furnished standalone chalet. You’ll appreciate its terrace and covered hot tub with views of the mountain peaks, its light-filled living area, and its proximity to the gondola that connects to the renowned 3 Vallées ski area. Detached house across from the owners’ home, on two levels. Access is via a short, steep paved path followed by a metal staircase (8 steps), with a small, unfenced yard bordering a spring and facing the guesthouse across the path. On the first floor (access from outside): laundry room (washer and dryer) and garage (1 space—with a standard household charging outlet for electric vehicles). Inside the vacation rental: on the first floor: living room/kitchen with a sitting area (a 2-person fold-out sofa, 140x190 cm) with access to the terrace (13 m² / outdoor hot tub). On the first floor: 1 bedroom (1 double bed, 140x190 cm, and a single bed, 90x190 cm, on the mezzanine), bathroom (shower), separate toilet. 1 private parking space along the road. Ski and bike storage. For pets, a blanket and a microfiber towel are provided upon arrival. We can also provide food bowls and a cushion. Plenty of space around the cottage and many walking options (paths and hiking trails starting right from the cottage).
