Family getaway
This property is in need of repairs. I’mnot sure if it was flooded during the Florida hurricanes last season or if it was from broken pipes from the upper unit, but there is clear evidence of water damage. The themed bedroom was unusable due to the extreme mildew smell. We even bought air fresheners to try and mask the odor, but it was too strong. There is also evidence of water damage in the dining room and kitchen. The cabinets are warped and you can see where the bottoms rotted away due to being soaked. I believe that they clean the home and it appeared mostly clean aside from some marks on the walls and baseboards, but you can smell the mildew throughout the home, with the worse stench coming from the themed bedroom. There is visible water damage on the ceiling as well. These things all need to be repaired. Also, one of the showers was unusable because it leaked outside of the glass enclosure and the faucet constantly dripped after use. We used the first night and then just shut that door for the remainder of our stay. The checkin and out process was very easy and the staff that I dealt with was very responsive and friendly. The location is about a 10 minute drive to the Disney theme parks. Overall, the stay was okay. With proper repairs, this could be a really nice vacation rental.
