the location is great if your going to the Universal Themed Parks, the staff was pleasant at both check in and out. We needed extra towels and were brought up immediately. The only detail Ic an share that we were not happy with was the bathroom. There was bit of mold growing at the ceiling/wall perimeter & the shower curtain was too small for the opening, so the floors kept getting wet.

Decent place at a Great Location

The location is tough to beat. The place is okay at best. It definitely will not blow you away. However, for the money - it is does offer a lot opposed to multiple hotel rooms.

Very solid stay

Room was a solid size, clean and a comfortable 3 day stay. Pool was a lot of fun for our kids - quiet and a great location. Definitely recommend!!

Nice week in the sun!

Great location within easy walking distance of great restaurants and Icon park . Nice pool and hot tub. Relaxing place to vacation.

It was better than a Hotel room

We got there late, we called ahead and all was good. We were tired and just wanted a shower and bed. The shower could just be described as tepid. Not the hot shower after a long drive we had hoped for. I told the front desk when we left in the morning and when we got back that night, late again, we had a hot shower. We were so grateful. And someone came by the room to see that it was fixed. That’s was great! The next day we came in late again, this time the shower was lukewarm at best. I told the front desk on the way to check out. The room was a little musty but clean and in a good location. Other than the shower problem, it was good. We really only needed a place to sleep and shower close to the parks. For the price , I would suck up the shower problem again.

Very unclean

The staff were excellent and helpful. Always kind. The room was everything we needed and expected it to be. However, it was very unclean. There was a cockroach in the bedroom, previous tenants' hair in the bathroom, dead insect parts in one of the beds. The sheets in that same bed looked unclean/stained. (Thankfully there were only myself and my husband, so we slept in the other bed.) We opened the blinds to look out at the pool to find previous tenant's panties on the windowsill. I went to show the housekeeping lady the panties and to ask if she could dispose of them, but she didn't speak English. So I motioned to ask for gloves so that I could grab them and trash them myself. The entire time we felt very unclean and like we were staying in a very dirty place. I will not stay here again.

Clean but no breakfast. Lukewarm shower.

The hotel was clean. The service was good. Breakfast was advertised, but they said it was canceled due to the pandemic. Florida is one of the most free states in America. Not having breakfast is a great way for the hotel to make more money. This should have been stated in the VRBO sign up process. Also, the shower water never got hot, only lukewarm.

Loved the area

Check in process was super easy, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The room was decent, beds were alright. Water wouldn’t get really hot for us but overall it was a nice place. I would stay again

Not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but...

Let’s start with the good stuff.... The staff was excellent. Everyone was helpful. If you asked for something, it came quick. The towels were nice and fresh. The tv channels had Cartoon Network which is one of our guilty pleasures. The sheets were clean, and the beds were comfy. The tv worked well. It had glasses and plates available for your use. There was a small store inside if you needed to purchase a drink or snack. The breakfast food was decent and was complimentary. They have a free drink with your stay. There were no signs of bed bugs. And now for the bad... Walking into the room, immediately you notice a funky smell. As you stay in the room, you don’t notice it, but each time you re-enter, it’s there. The elevator was slow and sounded like it was going to grind to a halt. I’m not sure if the floors are dirty or stained, but they felt sticky the first night we were there, and I didn’t feel comfortable waking on them barefoot. The cabinets were worn — you could see the mdf under the veneer — but they and the countertop were clean. It has a fridge, stove, and dish washer. Everything seemed to work. The doors into the bedroom made it awkward to get to certain places. You’d have to close the door to get around. The bathroom either has some discoloration caused by mold or it was dirty. There is a tiny safe in the room, but we weren’t provided with a key for it. The phone in the living area didn’t work. There didn’t seem to be enough hot water for both me and my husband to both have a shower. The water pressure was very low. The tub did not drain quickly.

Good stay!

We stayed 7 nights. Positives: -The check in was great-the employee was friendly & efficient. -The resort is located very close to grocery stores, retail shopping, entertainment, & restaurants which was fantastic. -The resort grounds were clean, & my daughter loved the pool/hot tub. Negatives: -I wish the beds were queen size, not full size. -While we were there one of the fire detectors kept beeping, which alerted it needed changing of batteries. We notified the front desk but nothing was done. -We had a water leak under the sink in the bathroom, which maintenance did come right away to repair. -Wish it were a non-smoking resort. When we were at the pool a couple of nights, there were so many people smoking in the pool area, as well as the patio area where the smoke would waft into the pool area. But I did like that there was music playing. Overall, the stay was good & worth what we had paid. We liked that it was pretty close to Disney World. We also liked that the resort offered free breakfast. We did utilize that most mornings.

Great Property

Such a nice place to stay, perfect for a family vacationing in Orlando. Loved the suite layout that included a mini kitchen. Breakfast buffet each morning was a big hit, too. I'd come back!

Enjoyed!

We were very happy with the property. The room was perfect for our little family. Enough space to spread out and have a little privacy with the bedroom as well. Food was great. "Disney conceirge" was a little disappointing as when they were there they were swamped with people and when I would come back in 30 minutes or so they would be gone. Never were able to use the service. But I understand 3rd party provider so not necessarily a knock on property. Price was great as well.

Great location and friendly staff!

We had a nice stay at staySky Suites! Pros: - Location & Shuttle: the hotel is super close to all of the parks and the “free” shuttles are an awesome perk. Don’t forget to reserve your spot a day in advance! - The room was spacious and had a nice sitting area and kitchenette - All of the staff we interacted with were so friendly and helpful! - The hotel was fairly quiet and once inside our room we couldn’t hear any outside noise Cons: - The chair in the room was quite dirty to the point where we placed a towel on it before sitting down - One day it seemed that housekeeping left halfway through making the beds so that was a bit odd... All in all a great place to stay!

Decent Room

The room was decent for what we needed it for- a place to sleep after the parks. There were quite a few things that needed attention though: * the table was all scratched * the shower curtain was dirty * there were random numbers of plates, mugs, cups, etc. * the splatter guard piece on the tub was falling off * the couches were dirty The staff was nice and helpful enough.

Great stay !

It was great. Didnt have but warm water but we did fine. My daughter fixed the squeaky door hinges with lubricant so it didn't wake anyone. The breakfast was fabulous too.
