Family Christmas Celebration
The property is exactly as pictured. The furnishings were nice, couches were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked well. The dishwasher was not screwed into the cabinet, so it tilted when loading. There was plenty of counter space for preparation and serving. We had a family group of 24, (14 kids) and there was space for everyone to spread out. The televisions worked and the game room was a hit. The pool was very nice. The baby gate was broken so we had to tie it closed when necessary (we had a three year old) and the hot tub was never "hot". We paid to heat the pool during our stay, even though the temperatures were fairly mild for December, and the pool was comfortable. If you want a hot tub, use the hot tub at the water park, which was truly a "hot" tub. Our big negative, and the reason for the "4" stars instead of "5" was that the beds were extremely uncomfortable. We had five couples who occupied the five king size bedrooms and everyone said the same thing - the beds were too soft, cheap and very uncomfortable. The bedding was fine, but the mattresses were lumpy and soft. We had some teenagers who said the same thing with the double and twin beds as well. Paying these prices over the Christmas holiday was a disappointment not to have better quality mattresses. There was a cleaning agent left in the washer so a shirt was ruined during the first wash, which was never resolved. Emily was an excellent host, very responsive and we loved our stay.
