A quick change up

We stayed at this specific property back in May, but due to an unforeseen maintenance issue, we were moved to a house a mile up the road. Unfortunately, it's hard to review something entirely different than what is picture, but as far as service the team went above and beyond to accommodate our large family, and it worked out seamlessly!

Not what I expected!

The experience probably would have been better if I was able to stay at the property I originally booked here but I was moved to their sister property Encore Reunion Resort due to maintenance issues. Address 241 Burma St. I’ll start with the Pros - check-in and the water park. The private pool ended up be nice once they cleaned it. Initially it had feces in it. Very disgusting. Let’s go into the bad. From the pictures we were presented with the house appears to be updated and for the most part it is but it’s time to replace things like the carpet, living room accent chairs, curtains (dirty and worn), showers, and top bed linens. A couple of the bed top linens had stains on them. Walls had marks and carpet looks very worn down. The house has a stitch to it as well. Can’t explain the smell. We burned candles. The worse thing about our stay is the refrigerator did not work. They sent a tech out 3 times and finally they ended up bringing out a second refrigerator 2 days before checkout. We had a 5 night, 6 day stay. We ended up having to throw out meat and milk. A very nice young lady came out to view the items that spoiled but we never heard back from management. Just terrible. Others issues included ants and issues with the coffee pot. They sent someone out to spray for ants right away but they never replaced the coffee pot as requested. I was very disappointed with our stay and likely will never reserve an Encore property again.

Perfect setup with excellent location

We’ve enjoyed the water park in Reunion in the past, so we opted to stay on property with a group of 6 adults and 5 children. The home was immaculate, and we walked to the water park each day. The home is well appointed and comfortable. And a small issue for maintenance was addressed immediately. We’re actually planning a repeat stay in a few months!

A nice new place to stay

Brand new facility, very clean. Some minor issues with the listing not being the same as the paperwork they ask you to sign off on at the front. It's not really a VRBO listing, if there are separate contractual agreements like a hotel. Staff is exceptionally flexible and accommodating. We travel a lot (or used to) and this is a good place to stay. Because it's new, there is still construction going on around, but that really wasn't an issue for us, and we basically had much of the place to ourselves, which during a pandemic, was perfectly fine with us.
