This is a lovely large chalet that is spotlessly clean. It is a short drive to Champex Lac, which is well worth a visit. Supermarkets are just 10mins away. The local village also has a brand new playground which the kids loved. The hosts are very helpful and easy to communicate with via the Vrbo app or WhatsApp.

Lovely chalet

An extremely well maintained and fully equipped traditional family chalet in a lovely location with a great view across the alpine meadows to the high peaks. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Ideal location to explore the St Bernard area including Champex-Lac and the amazing Val Ferret.

10 wundervolle Tage

Wir haben wunderbare Ferien in diesem sehr schönen, sehr sauberen und sehr ruhigen Chalet verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielen herzlichen Dank auch an das liebenswerte Vermieterpaar! Wir sind eine sehr bergsportaktive Familie und kamen mit der tollen Umgebung voll auf unsere Rechnung! Nach dem Sport konnten alle in den 2 Bädern schnell douchen (auch das 3.WC wurde sehr geschätzt) und nach einem gemütlichen Zusammensitzen haben alle sehr gut geschlafen. An der Einrichtung hat es an nichts gefehlt und die grosse Garage war für uns sehr zweckmässig um Bergschuhe, Rucksäcke und sonstige Sportgeräte einzustellen und zu sortieren. Gerne kommen wir wieder hierher zurück!

Amazing stay and hosts. Great location, amazing views. Property is everything you could wish for in a home away from home. Hosts were excellent, responsive, helpful and really friendly. Location of the property is very convenient and quiet, yet a supermarket, restaurants etc are within short driving distance. Lots of activities to do and explore. The property has everything you want, it is spotless and so clean, excellent wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, one of the best we have experienced, enough towels and linen, private parking and 2 nice bathrooms and another separate wc. The view from the balconies is just wonderful. We would love to come back and we highly recommend staying at this property. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

Exceeded all of our expectations

I don't even know where to begin... I am relatively new to the world of VRBO, though I have stayed in countless other lodgings- most commercial, some private. Following a number of recent family tragedies, I decided to take my 80 year mother on her very first trip overseas, with the bulk of our trip taking place in a rental car, traversing the European countryside. We had some personal matters to attend to in Switzerland, and though I've been several times before, this was first time in the Valais region. I began my search on multiple sites, stumbled across this property, read the description, looked at the pictures, double checked the price- then did it all over again, with the assumption that I had either missed something or was going to be severely disappointed and/or scammed when we arrived. We booked a stay for three nights, with the intention of arriving late afternoon/early evening to check in. Several unforeseen mishaps along the way saw us running far behind schedule, and we quickly realized that we would either be arriving EXTREMELY late or the following day. The owners were kind, flexible, and concerned that we would lose money, offered us several alternative options, which we elected not to take, due to our remaining schedule that week. The property itself is like something from a postcard and the pictures truly don't do it justice. My mom and I had to check several times to ensure the entire place was, in fact, ours- it's that spacious. You'll have everything you need and there are a handful of supermarkets within 10-15 minutes of the property. The views, the people, the accommodations- all among the best I've experienced. We've already begun planning a return and will be making a point of staying here again. If you're planning a trip to Switzerland and considering this property, DO NOT HESITATE, you will not be disappointed!

Winter-Tage mit Blick in die Berge & Sonne

Die Unterkunft ist noch sauberer, schöner und geräumiger als auf den Photos. Die Gastgeber sind äusserst zuvorkommend und wohnen in einem Chalet einige hundert Meter entfernt. Für unsere Tochter (5 Monate) haben die Vermieter extra einen Wickeltisch, Baby-Bett und Sitzgelegenheiten eingerichtet. Mega. Wir haben die Woche Ferien mit Schwiegereltern und Tante, Skifahren, Skitouren und Schneeschuhlaufen sehr genossen. Gerne wieder.

Perfekte Auszeit in den Bergen zum Jahresbeginn

Das Ferienhaus bzw. Chalet ist sehr geräumig mit einem sehr schönen Wohn-Essbereich und einer offenen vollumfänglich ausgestatteten Küche. In der ersten Etage befinden sich 3 geräumige Schlafzimmer und zwei moderne Bäder (1 Wannen- und ein Duschbad). Wir (5 Personen) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden von Yvan und Dominique mit allen notwendigen Informationen versorgt. Das Haus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Champex-Lac oder La Fouly, wo wir tagsüber Skilaufen waren. Für alle mit Kindern und Jugendlichen bieten sich die Skigebiete im Grand-St.-Bernard Gebiet an, da die Gebiete zwar nicht riesig sind (im Gegensatz zum nahegelegenen Verbier), dafür aber auch bei Weitem nicht so teuer (ca. 40 EUR pro Tageskarte für eine erwachsene Person). Darüber hinaus gibt es in Orsières einen Skiverleih (Crystal), den wir empfehlen können, eine Apotheke sowie Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf. Wir würden unsere Ferien jederzeit wieder in dem wunderschönen Chalet von Yvan und Dominique verbringen - nochmals vielen lieben Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!!! Anna, Rainer und Familie

Wunderschöne Ferien

Dominique und Yvan sind superliebe, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Haus ist wunderschön, super ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und auch schön sauber übergeben worden. Sogar an Kinder wurde mit viel liebe gedacht, alles was für Kleinkinder nötig ist, von Spielzeug, bis ein Töpfen, Geschirr, WC Aufsetzer etc. wurde von Dominique und Yvan bereitgestellt. Vielen lieben Dank für alles :)

Perfect chalet!

This chalet was immaculate. The view was unbelievable and the hosts were so friendly even with the language barrier. We loved every minute and would count ourselves lucky to return one day! The beds were very comfortable, the showers had great water pressure and all the fixtures were new and high end. I cannot say enough good things about this property and we have stayed at many vrbo rentals all over.

Top verblijf!

Een heerlijke vakantie gehad in de woning van Yvan en Dominique! Hele aardige en gastvrije mensen. Het was een fijne ruime vakantiewoning met heerlijke bedden. Alles was heel schoon en doordat de zon pas om 9.15 uur boven de berg uit komt blijft het ook lekker lang cool. Als de zon dan eenmaal te voorschijn komt kan je heerlijk in het zonnetje ontbijten en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. Er is ontzettend veel te doen in de omgeving en met de seizoens zomerpas voor 34 frank ook heel goed te betalen. Kortom, wij komen graag nog een keer terug!

Perfekt für einen Familienaufenthalt

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem Chalet. Das Haus ist vollständig ausgestattet und sehr sauber! Verbesserungspotential gibt es insofern, dass zwar ein TV da ist, man allerdings kein TV-Programm schauen kann, wenn man nicht gerade ein Account bei Tattoo o. ä. hat. Des Weiteren fanden wir es sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass es zwar eine Waschmaschine gibt, diese aber nicht selber nutzen kann, sprich die Vermieter waschen einem die Wäsche. Das empfanden wir als sehr befremdlich, zumal nichts davon im Inserat steht. Ansonsten aber wie gesagt sehr schön und empfehlenswert!

Excellent chalet close to several ski areas

A lovely, exceptionally clean, large chalet near Orsieres. It's is a 25 min drive away from the small, quiet and great fun ski domain of Champonex Lac. Verbier similar distance away. Everything accommodated for to make stay comfortable with great hosts
