“I like the beach front. Somehow the entry code to the cottages was revealed by other guests at the bonfire and every single guest had the same entry code. I felt that was not very safe.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet, the lake was beautiful, the furniture and the King bed were comfortable. The patio was so nice to sit and enjoy the lake. Hubby loved the hot tub although he struggled with the settings a bit. The amount of towels available was amazing. We hope to return!”

“Great sized house for our group of 6 and suited our needs of being close to tawas state park for the birding very well! I gave 4 stars on check in and communication because we had a hard time getting into the house and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone for some time but once we got in, was all smooth sailing!”

“Location was great! Clean, small cabins. Owner let my partner park his truck & boat trailer in his driveway. Thanks again! No spoons, no medium size fry pan, the biggest burner or knob on stove not working, coffee pot handle loose.”

“We came to Oscoda since I lived there when my dad was stationed at Wurtsmith Air Force base. The only down side was that the museum had already closed for the season. We’ll definitely be coming back.”

“Great location! Very accommodating! Met the owner, very pleasant person. Our cottage could use a deep cleaning (but, I am very fussy) the sofa was a little rough and, truly needs replacing. I took furniture covers and, throw rugs and, super thankful I did. Overall, a very nice place.”

“The house was perfect for our whole family. Plenty of room and Benji was a very attentive host. Anything that came up during our stay he was easy to contact and very accommodating. We stayed in October and the surrounding area and the lake were beautiful. I am hoping to stay again but next time in the summer. Very pleasant experience!”

“The location was perfect, it was just a short walk to the nearest beach. The cottage sat back off the road far enough which gave us all the shade and privacy we wanted. The few times I messaged the host , he responded very quickly! Awesome stay, I totally recommend and plan on returning.”

“The cabin was great and very close to Tawas Point State Park. Everything was very clean. However, apparently May is they're preseason so there was little if any housekeeping. We had to make and strip the bed, were expected to wipe down bathrooms, sweep floors, etc. Not a big deal but there's always the threat that extra charges might be added.”

“There wasn’t really no beach access. The water where we were. wasn’t the cleanest spot to swim and there was no tv but other then it was decent.”

“The cabin was nice. The listing was not clear as to which cabin had an unobstructed view of the water. We were booked in the Garden cottage. It sets behind the other two cabins. You can see the water between the other two buildings. The cabin was comfortable and in a convenient location. ”
