The hotel is in front of Allmendhubel ski lift and 2 min away from Birg/Schilthorn gondola. Couldn't be better placed.
Room was small but clean and warm. Personnel was nice in the extreme. Good breakfast and restaurant food. For the restaurant I advice to book in advance. They fortunately let us seat but it was fully booked and we were lucky.

“Ottima struttura, camere un po’ piccole ma con vista spettacolare e terrazza enorme. La cena molto buona . Buffet decisamente generoso e di qualità . L’atmosfera è impagabile, paesino splendido. Non posso che consigliarlo. ”
“We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here...
“I had great expectations for this stay since I’ve been to Wengen several times and I looked forward to stay at this hotel, that I value as the best there.
It was a short stay to ski, so I arrived and I departed late. The reception closes at 16.00 so I found my room key waiting for me with a nice note and that’s it. After 16.00 there’s also no service to and from the station: a minor issue.
I felt really unwelcome without a human contact with the reception: I can understand that at a “cheap”...
“Checking in was easy, warm welcome, room was spacious and comfortable. All amenities covered from coffee machine to toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, a really good selection across the board. Excellent restaurant for evening meals. All staff members were friendly.”
“Wengen is a hidden gem and this property was fabulous! I stayed with my 4 kids on the top level, which was a space with 2 rooms and a loft. We had plenty of sleeping space and magnificent views of the mountains and valley. There are cute shops and fantastic restaurants in Wengen. Hotel Falken offered a nice breakfast, and the staff was welcoming and helpful to us during our stay.”
“Beautiful and updated property. It’s nice to have the modern juxtaposition with the authentic Swiss surroundings. The staff was so kind and offered amazing local suggestions. They treated everyone like they were the only guests there. We did everything Svenja mentioned and had the best time. Fun story how the brothers run this spot and their parents run the hotel next door. Will be back!”
