"Lovely house inside. Plenty of space. Communication with the owner was good. Rooms were comfortable but cold - perhaps a heater for each bedroom would be a good idea as it gets into the negative temperatures."

"Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. "Perfect spot. Homely, tidy and really well set up with everything we needed.So cosy with the fire going and with a beautiful view down to the lake. A stones throw to the waters edge (and the pub!).Fabulous!!"
