The kitchen had everything we needed, though a few extras like wine glasses and some basic spices would have been a nice touch. “Eden Village motel is a wonderful place to stay! The owners are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make guests feel at home. The rooms, while not huge, are very comfortable and well-kept. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained, adding to the relaxing atmosphere.
You can get to Acadia NP on a short drive and it's not far from Bar Harbor Downtown, making it pleasantly quiet without sacrificing its location.

“Loved the charm, cleanliness, decor and location. However, internet was so bad we couldn’t watch more than a few seconds of YouTube at a time. Upstairs shower had the lowest flow we’ve ever seen, even with volume turned up to maximum. Dishwasher was commercial and required many manual steps lifting basket, etc and special soap that we never found. Easier to hand wash. No laundry and outdoor light didn’t work at night so we stepped in dog pooh getting out of the car when we arrived. Beautiful...

I did not rent a car, there were two shuttle pick-up spots within walking distance. In the evening, shuttle drivers would drop me off right by the property when I gave them advanced notice. Very conveniently located. Helen (the owner) is very nice and shared interesting story and useful trip information of the area. I enjoyed my stay there. ”

The only complaint I have is the parking lot is Sandy and being on a motorcycle that could be problematic. There is no clerk or anyone to really talk to. They just send you a message with a code and Wi-Fi password but it works out fine. I’d stay here again.”
