“Stayed at the Doubletree for a recent visit to Baton Rouge. It was a great hotel for the trip with comfortable beds, spacious rooms and pleasant staff. Close by to downtown and many restaurant choices within 15 minutes around the hotel. Only downside was getting out of the hotel to the highway. The main road to the hotel frequently backed up for people trying to enter the highway, but that was the only issue.”

“Breakfast was awesome with so many options to fit any diet. The staff keep everything hot and fresh. The bed was comfortable but there was not enough space on the left side between the wall and the bed. For me it was not a problem,but someone very large would be tight”

“the staff was great! the only problem we had was our first room the plug ins didn’t work but they moved us the next day. they were updating the hotel wasn’t in the best shape. dryer did not work and one of the elevators did not work. I think once they get everything completed it will be a great hotel. has a very nice pool and court yard.”

“Janice is a wonderful host! The house was great! Breakfast's were very tasty (she even fried special eggs for my husband). Make sure if you go there to eat at Sammy's across the street (it was so good, we ate there 3 times. Also Mike the tiger was a highlight (he seems to be active and playful in the mornings). I would definitely stay there again and recommend it!”

“Was there for a sporting event at LSU. Convenient location. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were amazing and helpful! The only complaint would be the temperature of the room. No matter how low we set the thermostat, it would stay between 74-76. ”
