Enjoy your time at this private cabin retreat set amongst the towering pines immersed in the peace of nature, yet conveniently located only minutes from town. Situated on Lawrence Lake this location speaks to many with opportunities to enjoy fishing/swimming with a connection to Roosevelt Lake for hours of boating, navigate the extensive ATV/snowmobile trail system conveniently linked to the property, hike/bike/snowshoe/ski on local trails, golf at the many golf courses in the lakes area, or treat yourself to a day of shopping and great food at the local shops and eateries. Looking to simply escape your busy life?!? Then maybe the serene screened in porch or cozy fireplace and a cup of freshly brewed coffee, or a bonfire and storytelling would be your idea of a relaxing stay. The possibilities are endless at this welcoming cabin getaway with all the modern conveniences needed to make your stay stress free!

Living room: Couch and Loveseat located in open concept kitchen-living room. Smart TV available for use. Stocked with a variety of puzzles, board games and cards/dice.

Kitchen: open concept kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steal appliances including: fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, bake wear, utensils, and Keurig with starter supply of k-cups,/creamer/sugar, standard coffee maker also available. We stock a variety of electric appliances including electric skillet, mixer, crock pot, waffle maker, etc.

Bathroom 1: 3/4 bath with shower, toilet and vanity. Bath towels, washcloths and hand towels provided.

Bathroom 2: 1/2 bath with toilet along with full sized washer and dryer and starter supply of laundry detergent.

Rec Room: heated/air conditioned attached garage space with 2nd living room includes: Queen-sized Murphy Bed, garage fridge, bench height countertop, fireplace, couch and recliner with smart TV. You will find several options for outdoor yard games (snowshoes during the winter), fish cleaning table as well as campfire toasting sticks stocked in this room.

Screened porch: situated along the lakeside, enjoy the peace of the woods with a cup of coffee in the morning or watch the sunset over the lake while comfortably seated out of the elements.

Lake: the cabin is located on Lawrence Lake. Lawrence lake is a 230 acre lake with a maximum depth of 71 feet with opportunity for water recreation and fishing alike! It is connected to Roosevelt Lake (1510 acres) via a navigable channel for most fishing boats and smaller pontoons. Roosevelt offers miles of boating opportunities with a lakeside bar & grill and community dock system. Our favorite… what is better than an evening boat ride to listen to live music, get a bite to eat or every better… enjoy an ice cream cone?!?

We have a natural shoreline at the cabin that offers great opportunities to catch glimpses of wildlife, but does not provide for a sandy beach. Please use the dock onsite to tie up your boat or use the water toys provided. We also have a boat lift on the dock that would accommodate most fishing boats under 17ft.

Fire pits: 2 fire pits are located on the nearly 2 acre property. One is conveniently located right outside the cabin doors with the 2nd pit located near the waters edge. Plastic Adirondack chairs are onsite for use. A starter stash of firewood is also provided with your stay.

Grill: we offer a pellet grill for use during your stay and stock the hopper full of pellets for your convenience.

Water recreation: 2 paddle boards, paddle boat and 2 kayaks are stocked in the boat shed by the lake for use during your stay with a variety of life jackets as well.
Parking: the nearly 2-acre lot with a 2nd driveway provides ample off-street, flat parking for your vehicles, trailers and toys.

*Disclosure: there are two external security cameras in use on the property that monitor the 2 driveways/entrances.

Week of relaxing

The property was everything I expected and then some! It was wonderful and relaxing and had everything we needed. We had a great week of playing in the water, playing all the games that were provided and spending quality time together taking a break from everyday life. One of the best places I’ve rented for our yearly get away!
We live 5 hours from family, the cabin was close enough in between that we got to see our nieces and sister in law for a bit while we stayed.

Perfect lakeside stay

This cabin was perfect for our family of adults plus 1 child. Each couple had their own room which helped with privacy, but all of the common areas were so perfect for us to all gather and hang out. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for cooking our meals. We loved that there were two fridges available. The host was incredible with communication and answered all of our questions. We loved the cabin so much that we already booked it again for a stay this fall. We can’t wait to come back for years to come!

We had a wonderful week stay! The location was perfect. We could head out of the driveway to the atv trails or walk to the dock to go fishing. The dock was also a great place to watch the beautiful sunsets. The home was clean, and well supplied to meet our families needs. There was plenty of space for the entire family to interact and separate rooms for privacy. The host was very informative and was always available to answer our questions.

Family Trip

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Vrbo! The house felt like a second home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed quality family time, tons of fun, and caught a lot of big fish! The host’s hospitality was top-notch, making us feel so welcome. Amazing Week!

We had an amazing week in Outing! There were 6 adults and a dog and plenty of space to be together or find alone time. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. Great amenities outside - dock was safe and a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Lots of games available for indoors and out. Nice area for a bonfire. Mosquitos were almost non-existent - we only noticed them at dusk. The screen porch was our favorite place to begin the day with coffee. Jessi was quick to respond if we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality and allowing us to enjoy this beautiful property!

Rejuvenating family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. It was perfect for our family of three couples plus dogs. We enjoyed time on the water with kayaks and paddle boards. There were plenty of games and puzzles. The house has great spaces to gather with family and also have a quiet time to read a book. We were surprised by the lack of bugs on the property and found it very enjoyable to sit outside. Don’t leave the property without bug spray as they are fierce! Thanks for welcoming us, being responsive to our needs and questions. This is a great home!

Weekend getaway

We did a quick weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect.The layout was great, everything you need was provided. We especially enjoyed the dock with the paddle boards and kayaks. Everything was clean, comfortable and communication was great. Definitely recommend staying here.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our time away! We relaxed, used the fire, kayaks, paddle boards, a rental pontoon with some water sports added in. Quiet space in the morning with the separation of rooms since sone were later sleepers than others. Jessica stayed in touch throughout the stay. Olds pontoon rental staff were great as well! Great stay. We would definitely return!

The Perfect Getaway!

This was our first time using Vrbo and boy oh boy did this place set the bar very high!! The location is relaxing, peaceful and absolutely beautiful! You can tell that they have put a lot of thought into being hosts and making sure their guests have a comfortable and convenient visit. Everything within the cabin is neatly arranged and well thought out in regards to keeping everything accessible and in an obvious spot! Our family is already planning our next trip here and we just got home 4 days ago 😉

Wonderful Property

We spent 3 days riding SxS on the area trails. The cabin was clean and had plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. We liked having a second fridge, the firepit and all the games. We hope to be back!

Well Organized and Beautuful

We rented this for 4 nights as a place to stay during an ATV weekend. The parking situation was great with three trucks and trailers. The trails are a block or two away. The house was gorgeous! It is so nicely decorated and mechanically sound. You may laugh, but we have had some with inoperable ammenities. The owners did a great job of thinking through practically every need. Grill, marshmallow skewers, firewood, even extra toiletries if needed. Our stay was amazing! We LOVED- this place. We may book again next season for the same reason! Otherwise we move around to various trails. This was honestly such a beautiful place!!

Great property

We had a great trip, the owner has obviously taken great care to get details right, from 2 fire pits, a long leash for a dog, etc the care for this property is evident. There's also tons of stuff to do, kayaks, paddle boat, paddle boards, tons of board games, foosball, and grill. Highly recommend.

Ladies getaway

We were very pleased with the cabin. It was well stocked (spare toiletries, coffee, hot chocolate, FIRE WOOD, board games, outdoor games, blankets, pillows, etc). We were pleased to find out it had 2 fridges, one even had an ice maker. We did run out of trash bags and the owners were very quick at getting us a new box. We rented a pontoon from olds pontoon rentals, they delivered it to our lake, we even went through the channels to another lake.

Family Vacay

The host was great to deal with! This property was just as listed. A beautiful home with great spaces for our family vacation. We had 3 couples and one teenager. The location was great for restaurants & trails. The only thing that caused us an issue was access to the lake for my older parents. We picked them up at the public landing when heading out on the lake so that was a good 2nd option. The property was great overall. We enjoyed the quiet setting! Too bad the lake weather wasn't better. I highly recommend!

Excellent get away

Everything you see in the pictures is exactly what you get and then some. I’ve stayed in other Vrbo properties with this one, they truly try to provide everything you could possibly need the for the weekend at the lake. From Lake toys, board games, coloring books, foosball table, darts firewood and paper towel! The shoreline is a perfect example of what a natural lake should look like and the neighbors where quiet did not disrupt. From the previous comment- the only disappointment I have is the neighbor Dog DID NOT come and visit us- our dog Leo would have loved it. If you have a boat bring it- lots of local lakes to explore. If you have a atv or side by side -same- with trail pretty much right next to the property. We would definitely stay again if the host would have us!

Absolute gem!

Completely wowed--from the beauty of the location, neatness/cleanliness of the house and grounds, to the thoughful touches and included amenities, I was 100% happy with our stay! We had a lovely time relaxing, enjoying the peddle boat and other water toys, games, porch with the lake view, and campfires. A peaceful home away from home; the house and property were instantly welcoming. Would not hesitate to enthusiastically recommend!

Wonderful, relaxing stay!

My family (6 adults and 1 child) had a wonderful stay! The home is well-stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, tons of games and yard games, outdoor seating etc. The laundry and dish detergent was accidentally not restocked prior to our stay but the host and cleaner were SUPER nice and accommodating to bring a few more for our stay. There isn't any place for recyclables. The house is super comfortable for our 7 person family, it was nice to have the extra space in the "game room" so if someone wanted to get away/watch a different show etc. Great yard for lawn games (although the hill/stairs are pretty steep but was ok-we got our workout in and my dog loved running up and and down). Nice to have some lake toys (kayaks, paddle boat, etc) but the lake is certainly made for boating (which we didn't have). The lake is not the best for dogs as it is pretty marshy until the end of the dock. So if your dog is hard to keep out of the muck ;), just beware. Fyi there was a neighbor dog that was friendly but did come over a couple of times and went potty which we cleaned up after but just an FYI if you have a dog that doesn't like exploring neighbor pups. We weren't having much luck fishing off the dock so again, a motorboat would have been perfect! Perfect location for UTV/ATV (would def bring mine next time!). Again, super friendly and accommodating hosts. A very peaceful and relaxing stay will certainly try to come again and recommend to others. Thank you so much!

Sweet hideaway for group

Property was super clean and well-stocked with everything you'd need (not consumables, of course). The lake it's on is small, but perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. The water was super clean. We were even blessed with a visit from a mama loon and her baby. Lots of room for my little kid to run around both inside and out. Great fire pit with lots of wood available. We'd definitely recommend this place.

Great up north retreat

We had a blast at this cabin! The cabin has all that you would ever need to have the luxeries to stay in all week. Great set up for indoor and outdoor spaces. We enjoyed the kayak trips, screened in porch and camp fire spaces the most. We brought our boat and the lake was beauiful. We would love to stay here again!

Great way to kickoff summer

The cabin was nice and very accommodating. The teens enjoyed having separate space for themselves and everyone had a bed. Loved the early morning coffee in the screened in porch looking at the lake and listening to the wildlife. We were able to fish off the dock, the kids used the paddle boat and board, kayaks and floaties to soak up some sun. The ATV trails were accessible and spent hours riding.
