“The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. My air conditioner/heating unit did not seem to be working, so I was too warm both nights of my stay. The lobby seemed to be fairly nice, clean, well kept. Other public spaces - hallways, elevators - were in poor shape. Carpets worn and things were dirty. Visibly dirty. I did not use the pool or the arcade, but I thought the vintage arcade games were a nice touch. The bar and restaurant, Tanglewood, was a mistake I won’t make again. Food was below...

"Arriviamo e impieghiamo un'ora per fare il check-in con una persona incompetente che non sapeva cosa fare. Alla fine ci danno la stanza regolarmente pagata per tre notti. Il giorno seguente, dopo aver fatto un giro in città, ci ritiriamo la sera tardi dopo cena e ci dicono che a nostro nome non c'era nessuna stanza e che non potevamo entrare neanche per prendere i bagagli. Siamo rimasti un'altra ora ad attendere le loro verifiche con una persona con atteggiamenti nevrotici che sembrava non capire niente. Ci chiedono la carta d'identità italiana e non il passaporto. La mia recensione negativa non è tanto per l'errore, che può capitare a tutti, ma per l'atteggiamento della dipendente che è rimasta immobile e si è ripresa le chiavi (e noi come le avremmo avute se non ce le avesse dato qualcuno di loro). Resta immobile senza darci spiegazioni o cercare di risolvere il problema. Abbiamo dovuto insistere per più di mezz'ora per chiamare il direttore. Un modo di fare troppo maleducato e insofferente nei confronti del turista. Alla fine non si è nemmeno scusata e siamo stati costretti in piena notte a fare una nuova prenotazione nello stesso hotel e nella stessa stanza per avere i bagagli. Riguardo l'hotel, molto semplice con camere spartane e una colazione al minimo. Mai più. Affidatevi a catene di hotel serie. E per ultimo, un messaggio per la dipendente: cambi lavoro, questo non è adatto a lei."
