10/10
My family, including myself, my spouse, my mother-in-law, and our two children under 5 really enjoyed staying in this house for our 1 week trip to Oxford.Best Parts:- Location is unbeatable, especially for us. My partner was studying abroad for the week at the Said Business school which the home is incredibly close to. Being a 5m walk from the train station for day trips and 10m walk to the city center was also excellent. Lastly, the location next to the canal was overall a pleasant and quiet place to have as our home base. 10/10 location.- Getting checked in/out was easy and seamless.- Rooms were large enough to fit all of us. Kitchen was big enough for the amount we used it and most of the tools we needed were there. Dishwasher and laundry worked and came in handy. Wifi was reliable. Shower pressure was excellent and water was sufficiently hot.Not so good, but not deal breakers:- The week we went temperatures were in the mid 80s Fahrenheit and the home has no A/C. I'm not going to count that against the home though because I expect most places that aren't hotels in England don't really have A/C. It was uncomfortable for sure so it is something to be aware of but again, that's going to be a problem everywhere.- House is on the older side which means some low roofs, steep winding stairs, and stickier windows. Again, not deal-breakers since I fully expect most homes in the area likely have the exact same problems. Just something to be cognizant of.
