    Inside, the home blends modern updates with comfort. Central air keeps you cool, while two screened porches off the bedrooms offer a relaxing spot for morning coffee or evening unwind time. Large windows fill the space with natural light and showcase stunning lake views. A cozy downstairs family room with a TV and games is perfect for movie nights or rainy days.

    Enjoy easy access to the lake with a private dock that accommodates boats up to 22 feet, plus three kayaks for paddling and exploring. Thompson Lake’s calm waters are perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. When you’re ready to venture off the property, Oxford is just a short drive away, offering shopping, dining, and entertainment.

    This lakeside retreat delivers the perfect mix of comfort, outdoor adventure, and relaxation for your Maine vacation.

    (Please note: there is a right-of-way path beside the property. This path does not provide access to the beach or yard, which are fully private for your use. You may occasionally see neighbors walking along the path, but your lakeside space remains your own.)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house! Very nice decor, well stocked and very comfortable! Great to have kayaks and paddleboards! Only problem was the public access area very close to property line. We had 3 days of 20+ people there most of the day. It was noisy and definitely took away from the peacefulness of the lake! The listing does not detail this information.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at this charming rental home. We especially liked the screened porch off the master bedroom for morning coffee, the sandy beach with shallow entry, and the stable dock with a built-in bench. The walkout lower level is finished with couches, a TV, game table, (games and movies provided) and a bathroom with washer/dryer, which we appreciated. AC made it comfortable on hot days. Thompson Lake is beautiful! We would rent here again in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay in this newly redone home on Thompson Lake. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture and beds and well kitted out. The sandy beach and shallow entry were perfect for our young children who spent hours playing there happily. Gorgeous sunset viewing from the end of the dock. Water is lovely and clear (though the sand leading to and at the end of the dock could have used some raking at the start of the season as it was evident by the murky bottom and weeds that it hadn't been used frequently - once we'd spent some time jumping off the dock and stirring things up it started to clear a bit). There's a right of way on one side of the property and that area got a bit busy on hot days so the location is not quite as private as some, but it didn't prevent us enjoying ourselves and having a wonderful week! Would definitely recommend this property and hope to be back in future years.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place to enjoy beautiful Thompson Lake. We are fairly local and wanted a lakefront vacation spot. This was it!! Private sandy beach, a boat mooring, a great house. The kitchen is a galley kitchen, so not a lot of room there and no dishwasher, but lots of paper plates and cups solved that problem! Quiet lake, nice neighbors, beautiful sunsets! We’ll be back!
