    Questa casa one-of-a-kind lago su misura è stato progettato per divertire e catturare le viste più belle acque libere. Questo 4 camere da letto, 4 bagno di casa dispone di 2 livelli con una splendida gourmet chef cucina con tutti gli elettrodomestici in acciaio inox grado superiore, camera da letto mozzafiato matrimoniale e bagno, sala grande famiglia e una sala di intrattenimento con bar bagnato. Il sciopero livello inferiore consente l'accesso diretto ai giardini di roccia che circondano la casa.

    Un sentiero privato conduce dalla proprietà fino al lungolago, dove gli ospiti possono godere dell'accesso alla spiaggia e camminare, correre o andare in bicicletta lungo il Lake Country Rail Trail. Il tratto di 16 km della linea di sentieri all'interno dei confini del lago è mozzafiato, il corridoio tortuoso del sentiero costeggia il bosco e il lago di Kalamalka toccando habitat naturali, frutteti e vigneti. Il Rail Trail alla fine si collegherà da Kelowna a Vernon.

The host was super friendly and helpful, gave clear instructions, and made check-in and check-out a breeze. The home is absolutely beautiful and well done. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee on the back patio, overlooking the lake.

Our host, Robin was very accommodating. The views were amazing. The home was perfect for 8 adults to share for 5 nights. We would definitely come back again!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house over looking Wood Lake. The house is great for entertaining and the view is beautiful! Robin is a wonderful host and we appreciate her willingness to accommodate our family on short notice. We look forward to staying at this property again! Thanks Robin!

Nice house, and just what we needed for an extended Thankgiving weekend stay. The downstairs matress has seen better days, but other than that, the house is a beautiful space.

Lakeview luxury home

Robin was an excellent host throughout. The home well appointed and comfortable. Fantastic views. The addition of a hot tub or pool, is the only amenity that would have improved the stay.

Magnificent location

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home overlooking Wood Lake. The expansive windows let in plenty of natural light and offered stunning views of the water and surrounding landscape. The veranda was the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery, especially during sunrise and sunset. The property has easy access to the lake, and the well-kept grounds made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside escape

Great vacation home in Oyama

This is a wonderful home on a great property with a superb view. The home has great indoor and outdoor space with room for a large group. We also liked the close access to Oyama and the Rail Trail for cycling. Robin made the booking and check-in process easy with excellent communication and support.

Overpriced for the value

We traveled as 2 families (9 people total) and stayed at this property for a week. We have the following comments based on coming to Lake Country for the last 6 years staying in a variety of places (condo’s, houses, etc). Positive thoughts on the property: • Great central location within close proximity to beaches Great communication with Robin on entry • Amazing views • Beautiful house for 2 people and has great privacy • Amazing décor • Good access to rail trail (although large hill to hike up/down😊) Constructive criticism: • Communication fell apart once we left the property • The beds in the house are not hotel grade and need to be replaced. Especially the beds on the lower floor are not to the quality they should be considering we are paying a high amount per night. When kids complain about beds you know you have an issue. • The air conditioning must work properly. The unit could not keep up to the heat and seemed to not even exist on the lower wing. Everyone was uncomfortable for the entire trip. • Although the views are amazing, you need to have blinds on the master bedroom and main floor. Unless you like to wake up with the sun it is just too bright to sleep. • The fridge is undersized for 2 families staying for the week. I would suggest a second fridge in the basement for cold beverages and ice cream while the primary fridge can serve for food storage. • The second (upper) drawer on the dishwasher is broken and should be replaced. • Beach towels are not provided and should be available for guests considering the close proximity to the beach. All other properties we have stayed at have provided these. After the trip we reviewed the past reviews, and it looks like many of our issues have been brought up in the past. Unfortunately, we didn’t review those comments prior to booking (or they are not always visible depending on the page). There is only 1 bedroom on the main level…so everyone else is on the lower level. We did feel that some financial compensation would be fair considering some of our major needs were not met and the high price of the rental. However, discussions with Robin quickly stopped (she wouldn’t respond or answer her phone) once a compensation amount was discussed. It is our opinion that there are way better properties for half the price and people should book elsewhere. Darcy O’Brien
