“I booked this place because it was right next to the dive shop I was diving with. The place looks great from photos, unfortunately the rooms are very run down with paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom and water stains on the floor and even baked on grime on the bathroom mirror. The staff were helpful but the restaurant was lacking alot of food from the menu and even coke was not available at the bar. Outside my room I found several empty beer bottles and some old food containers that...

“This is a great place with great people. No this is not a 5 star accommodation, but it was clean, the staff is great and it’s just the right mix of rustic and creature comforts.”

“Overall, a very pleasant experience staying at Novotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, even offering late check out, uninitiated by me, at no extra cost. I would definitely pay the extra for the second floor rooms (deluxe room and above). The increase in price is relatively minor, and the privacy and views from your balcony is well worth it. I would be wary of the restaurant, however. I ordered pasta that had a broken, oily sauce, and a creme brulee that was obviously baked...

“The staff were wonderful and the place is beautiful. The gardens are very well maintained. There are activities everyday and music in the evenings. The people living in the village next door are very friendly and the children are very nice and respectful. The spa is wonderful. The chefs are friendly and answer any questions you may have about local food.”
