“My room was clean and the staff was nice. The lobby is quite hot but there was a friendly cat there that greets guests. My room was close to the bar area so I could hear.the noise but I just ignored it. It would best if the doors also had double-bolt for safety. You need to bring your own shampoo and soap, too; but towel has been provided. Good aircon quality!”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Fare Arihau Vairoo. The room was lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and took care of us as though we were family. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. All the food was prepared by our host from local ingredients mostly grown in their own garden. All the food was exceptional and the service, some from our hosts little girls, was delightful.”

“Aroa Kainga is one of the best places we ever stayed at. The bungalow and the veranda offer plenty of space and the kitchen is perfectly equiped - you'll find everything you need if you wish to cook your own meals. Location is particularly good if you are into snorkelling as the nearby beach is the best snorkelling place in Rarotonga. “Sandra, with the aid of Google Translate made us feel welcome and at ease straight away. The cottage we stayed in was quirky, very clean and well-equipped including free WiFi. Local facilities aren't so good, you'll definitely need a car and the local beaches aren't ideal for swimming or snorkelling but there is a pool to lounge in and around. Noumea is about half an hour drive away and there are some museums and things to do there. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there...
