That said, the stairs to the loft where the main bed is are small and steep so something to keep in mind if you need to try to make it down to use the bathroom and back up in the dead of night. “The Teahupo’o surf break is basically directly out front (off-shore at the reef, of course) but water taxis are right at the shore by the front gate of pension so the location could not be better from that POV. It’s a short walk (5 minutes) on a nice beach path from the Teahupo’o photo wave spot and Olympic rings, or you can drive to the pension and park but only if you’ve got a vehicle capable of river-crossing - so that adds to the charm of the place as well. “We absolutely loved our stay. We were only here for one night, previously we were at Koro Sun for 5 days but we enjoyed Gecko Lodge for the view, the close access to town and the lady that checked us in was super helpful and kind. We used the kayak and spent time out on the beach area. The AC worked great, good wifi and a tv. Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.”

La posizione è ottimale, sia se si ha una macchina, sia per girare in autobus e per la cena a pochi minuti c’è un piazzale con i migliori food truck dell’isola!!
