  • Cozy log cabin with abundant outdoor activities available within minutes, not the least of which is Mt. Rainier National Park 15 minutes from the front door. During the winter enjoy sledding, tubing, skiing, and snowshoeing at, and around, the White Pass ski resort just 30 minutes away. During the warmer months enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, and numerous other outdoor activities right out the front door. Or just relax inside or around a campfire. Relax, recharge, and refresh yourself!

    This home does not have AC, but a stand alone AC unit and some fans have been provided for your comfort.

    Please Note:This property does have outdoor security cameras facing the front and back door. Cameras are turned off during guest stays for privacy.
    During the summer a burn ban may go into effect in all of Lewis County. During this time campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and any other form of burning may be prohibited.
    Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guests responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.

Expedia has the incorrect address to the cabin. On site states 116 as house address snd it is actually 118. We would not have known but looked at property pictures.

location, great. AC was out, but after the first night we luckily didn’t need it although host offered to bring us an extra unit. Doors are a little wonky. overall, a pleasant experience. Washer and dryer a big plus. Would do again.

Great little cabin! Perfect for a nice get away. Everything you’ll need for your stay. Quiet neighborhood close to town if you want to head in for food.

Check in was a breeze. The communication with the mgmt group was spectacular, so we had all the information we needed ahead of time. The space is tight but perfect for a home base. We definitely want to come back

Cozy Cabin

This is our second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. This time we found a collection of puzzles and games provided which was a great touch after a day skiing at White Pass. We love the rustic decor and makes us dream of owning our own one day. We travelled with our two dogs. They were very comfortable and loved the long neighborhood walks we took throughout our stay. Highly recommend for a cozy, rustic getaway.

The location of the house was nice because it was very close to town and White Pass and the neighborhood was nice. Not a lot of trails or access to the river but it was still a nice area. The house was nice but not as expected. The upstairs was perfect for the two teens because they had their own space but downstairs was very cramped. The coffee table, futon, recliner, side tables, and kitchen island and chairs were hard to walk around without running into something. Also the furness was broken downstairs so we had to use space heaters. The host was very nice and got back to me right away when I let them know we were very cold and he brought extra heaters. One space heater we were using was not safe because the cord was getting very hot. Also the welcome book said there was a TV upstairs and downstairs but there was only the one upstairs so we had to bring it down in order to watch movies. We also had to leave it on the coffee table to watch anything because there was no where else to put it. Note, bring your own knives if you like to cook a lot. We had to use our pocket knife because none of the knives were sharp enough to cut anything other than butter. BUT again the location was great, the neighborhood was very nice, the host was very helpful, the place was clean, and the price was good (other than the heat not working in the living room). So it wasn't all bad. Due to the size we just wouldn't be able to stay there again. We had a great trip to Packwood overall.

The most horrible place you can get

If you trying to have very nice stay and relax after bid city life, this is not the place to go. First of all the cleanliness of the place horrible. Spider webs on all windows inside and out. Two beds out of three were broken. First bed in the upper floor folded in half on top of us as soon as we got in to it. The slipper sofa downstairs is so outdated that while you sitting on it the leather is shading on top of you. Don't even try to sleep on that one either, because mattress is so dirty and outdated that it made my stomach sick. As a part of hospitality industry it make me sick when I see treatment like this for the amount of money we paid. With everything been said, after we contacted property management and requested refund for that horrible service nobody even bother themselves to at least contact us with a solution. Never chose this place for your stay if you want your family to be safe and healthy. Who knows what you can catch at place like this.

Quiet getaway

Took our family for a short getaway. Cute cozy cabin. Great fire pit area with covered porch. Everything you need available in the kitchen and a nice BBQ. The futon was comfortable and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. We brought an air mattress as a back up but did see they had some there as well. There is no cell service of any kind. However, there were two tvs and dvd options. The movies were out dated and not a ton of kid options. Bring some with you, if you have any. All in all this was a great laid back trip. Gave us time to play games, watch movies and hang out at the fire pit.

Quiet & Restful

Although the weather did not agree with our intention to ski, we enjoyed the quiet and restful time without devices. We found the pop up library on the tree down the road to the right and enjoyed reading a book for once. Thanks for the nice stay.

Cabin stay.

I liked the close proximity of the cabin to Mt. Rainier. The cabin itself was clean with all of the necessary amenities, but the lighting was too dark. I would recommend better light sources.

Great stay!

The location was fantastic. We really enjoyed the small town of Packwood. We spent most our time at mt. Rainier National park which was amazing! The place was a cute little cabin that we enjoyed. Wish we would have booked another night.
