The front desk staff were a bit rude throughout our stay. From the moment we checked in, the experience felt unwelcoming. When we first received our room keys, I was putting my credit card away and the receptionist immediately called out “next” without even a simple “thank you” or “welcome.”
During our stay, each time I went to the lobby, the interactions felt awkward and uncomfortable. For example, when our room keys stopped working and I asked for assistance, the receptionist seemed surprised—as if it was unusual—and instead of handling it calmly, she began ranting. It made the situation unnecessarily unpleasant.
Overall, the front desk team could definitely improve on basic hospitality, courtesy, and professionalism.
