Padstow, the historic fishing port known for fine seafood restaurants, is just 3 miles away and has a wealth of attractions.


The cottage is one of a group of traditional stone properties set on a farm. Extremely spacious and attractively furnished, it comprises an open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen, with comfortable seating and a country-style dining area. The inviting king-size bedroom has a fresh green and white theme and there is a large shower room. Outside, the suntrap courtyard garden furniture has lovely rural views; a perfect spot to sit with a drink and enjoy the peace.


As well as its beautiful setting, guests can also claim a £5 discount at the Merlin Golf Club in Mawgan Porth and 20% off green fees at Mullion Golf Club. If learning to ride the Atlantic rollers appeals, nearby Harlyn Bay (3 miles) has a wide expanse of golden sand and a surf school. Harlyn is dog friendly all year round, as are splendid beaches at Treyarnon and Constantine Bays close by (both within 3 miles). Visit Padstow’s local museum to discover the story of this colourful town and take a sea life safari boat trip from the harbour. The Camel Trail in Padstow is a long-distance cycle and footpath that takes you through beautiful countryside along the river estuary.
