“Nice tidy budget hotel that is run by a very fine gentleman from Poland. It is basic but clean and in good repair. A little hard to see from the main road, but consider it a slightly hidden gem. Modest but satisfactory breakfast (continental). We met interesting people from Australia, France, and Texas at this cozy, simple hotel. ”

“Very nice and clean property, everything was thought of, road noise did not bother us, but there was several options for people with issues with noise. Loved the features and amenities. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio with the fire pit and having the electric fireplace inside for the cool evening, ”

“Elk Trace Bed and Breakfast was an incredible experience. The "big" house was incredible. Like a combination of a cabin / manor house. Beautiful on the outside and inside, nestled on 102 acres of pristine Colorado (San Juan Forrest) wilderness yet still fairly close to civilization in Pagosa Springs. The room was perfectly sized with a king bed. The place is dog friendly. The owner, Evelyn, even volunteered to watch one of our yappy dogs while we went on a carriage ride around the property...
