“If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. ”

“My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. It was delicious! The room was small but comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. The property and location was great too. It was a 10 minutes walk to rainbow falls and 5 minutes drive to downtown Hilo. ”

“Thanks to Erich and Suzy for making our short stay as cozy as possible and helping us figure out plans. Between plane delays and terribly rainy weather, our volcano visit was mostly a washout. “Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). Don't miss Uncle Robert's on Wednesday night with other locals. It was a great time. Also, the Lava Flow museum in Pahoa...

Il lanai è carino e caratteristico, anche se curerei un pochino di più la pulizia (capisco che si tratta praticamente di un esterno). Meraviglioso il canto degli uccellini che sembrano essere all'interno dell'abitazione. Se si vuole un'esperienza in full immersion con la natura delle Hawaii, questo è il posto giusto. Lati negativi: la cucinetta è priva del necessario per cuocere qualche cosa di sostanzioso, c'è soltanto un microonde, ma per il resto poco altro. La proprietaria è gentilissima, la comunicazione costante e veloce."
