Spaziosa casa 3ba 2ba recentemente ristrutturata su misura con oltre 2.144 piedi quadrati di spazio abitativo che è stato magnificamente ristrutturato / rinnovato per godersi la vita sull'isola.

Questa casa dispone di soffitti a volta, luce naturale con porte francesi che si aprono sul tuo spazioso lanai / ponte anteriore, al piano principale troverai anche due camere da letto, lavanderia, bagno completo con doppio lavabo e una sala più vicina.

Una cena o un intrattenimento formale è una delizia con gli armadi in bambù massello a chiusura morbida della cucina aperta, lo smaltimento aggiornato, i ripiani, gli elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile (frigorifero Samsung e gamma, lavastoviglie Bosch), il bancone per mangiare in altezza del bar e molta illuminazione.

Camera matrimoniale oversize con vasca da bagno in stile "Jacuzzi", doccia separata, doppio lavabo. La zona lavanderia / fango separata (con lavandino) rende le vacanze qui molto convenienti.

  • In 1790 a swift moving lava flow leveled the forest here and drained away, leaving behind a new forest of "lava trees". These hollow rock columns were formed when the lava wrapped around the cool tree trunks and quickly solidified. When the molten lava drained away, these rock columns were left standing. The columns are hollow because the tree trunks themselves were incinerated during the process, but only after the rock had cooled enough to hold it's shape. If you look closely, you can sometimes see the texture of the tree bark in the rock molds.

There was a shortage of some items which were necessary like enough towels and toilet paper. it would have also been nice to have had a mini split for air conditioning because it was incredibly hot and humid and the overhead fans just did not help much. The cushions on the chairs were not clean and it would have been nice to have at least one or two extra chairs for the dining table, after all, the listing did say up to 6 people. We had 5 and only 4 chairs for table. Otherwise, the house was comfortable. A bonus was the neighbors dogs. They were so cute and friendly.

Clean, well maintained house.

Nice house with a fully stocked kitchen. There are wild roosters in the yard that will wake you up early but we just took it in stride. Overall it was a great experience.

Fantastic House

This house was fantastic. It was spacious and well maintained, plus had a really awesome rock formation out front. When we got there I didn’t realize how far from Hilo it was (which was my fault for not checking). It’s about a 30 min drive to Hilo. We did have problems getting checked in, but I do not feel it was the owners fault. We got in late and did not have the gate code. When I called the owner I got no answer. He said he didn’t have a missed call (which I believe because he was very response prior to the incident and after). I called VRBO to see if they could help because I couldn’t get the instructions in the app. They were only able to tell me to find a hotel room nearby and they would reimburse me. Once we got settled in it was great. The house is on a quiet street. You feel like you are in the middle of the rain forest. I would definitely stay here again. I can’t speak much to amenities in the house as we mostly just slept and showered here.

Good fit for our family

The space worked well for us. 2 adult sons, 1 teen daughter and parents. Nicely laid out with a master suite upstairs. Would also work well for 3 couples. Clean, well stocked, safe and quiet (but bring ear plugs because night critters are loud). When you go into Hilo try to avoid returning during rush hour. WiFi too weak to support Zoom so son went to local coffee shop for his connection.

Perfect home away from home!

Absolutely loved staying at this at this VRBO. It was very clean, in a beautiful quiet location and wonderful to come home to at night after exploring the island. The beds are very comfortable and I definitely recommend staying here!!
