“Lovely guesthouse that has been updated but still has kept its beautiful character. The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. “The room was not cleaned to high standard, the corners and edges in the shower room were dusty and stained. It’s a shame as the place is new and will depreciate quickly if not kept up to good standards. The room is really nice and a very comfortable bed, we slept so well. My partner loved the telly! Staff were fantastic, very helpful. Cannot fault them. Breakfast was disappointing, a lot of food but blunt and not inspiring! Car park is more expensive as compared to little hotels nearby costing...

“I really liked this hotel, it was our second visit but, they completely messed up our dinner. We pre ordered the roast pork but, unfortunately they ran out! We ended up with ham, egg and chips which was laughable, the ham looked like thinly sliced spam, the egg was overcooked and we had a few oven chips! It was so bad we got up and walked out, which i have never done before and I’m 67! I have emailed the hotel but, no reply! We won’t be going back!”
