“Great place to stay! We called this cabin home for a week and it had everything we needed. Super close to shops and restaurants and the host is very happy to suggest places to visit and ways to spend time in the Bay of Islands region!”

“The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a cabin with its own amenities, but we did scope out the shared kitchen and it was spacious and clean. It is pet friendly, there were other people in campers and RVs who had dogs with them. The owners also had a friendly little fur baby who was one of the highlights of our interactions with them. I recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again.”

“This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!”

“A very special place to stay. Formerly a classic kiwi shearing shed, it has been renovated with love and by someone with a great eye for colour, fabric and furnishing. It had an excellent well-stocked kitchen and the longest bath I think I've ever seen. The bedroom was sweet and the huge front living space perfect to relax in with our small dog George. This is a fabulous place to stay very near the stunning beaches from Matauri Bay north to Te Ngaere Bay and Piapia Bay (wow!). Located on a farm,...
