“My family described the house as whimsical. It’s a very cool home with amazing views from the deck. We loved staying there and the kids couldn’t get enough of the spiral staircase. It’s dog friendly, has a full kitchen, good shower pressure, and excellent as far as privacy goes for a disconnected weekend away. The road to the cabin is a rough dirt road that takes some skill to navigate from the north side. I didn’t travel from the west but am told it was also a bit of a tough dirt road though...

“What a fantastic safari-like experience! The place was very tastefully done (think senior British officer's tent in 1800s) with all modern amenities (and wifi, if you dont want to unplug). Host Lauri was very communicative and easy to work with. We'll definitely be back when we have moree dayss.”

“Escaped San Diego for the night and enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Great views and cozy. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in the view. ”

“Great little place, cute, fun location, clean and excellent value; this was our second visit - would come again ONLY IF high iron/Sulphur levels in water are resolved. Not pleasant using water that tastes like you have blood in your mouth and smells like rust ALL the time & Sulphur odor at times. This water problem has been an issue for some time with the cabins since there is a little sign about it and you can also see the rust stains on shower tile, ect. I appreciated the quick help /responses...

“The property was perfect… at site 11 there is an old tree with birds of all colors, wordpeckers, nesting birds all day. We had two great hikes and the pie and ice crean in Julian. We will be back soon.”
