Private Mountain House - 10 minuti per Hunter Mountain!

Benvenuti nel nostro spazioso chalet di 2700 mq con 3 camere da letto / 2 bagni situato nel Catskills. Situata su una strada privata, questa casa di recente costruzione si estende su 3 acri e dispone di una grande sala grande con soffitti a volta e camino aperto sulla cucina gourmet personalizzata con armadi KraftMaid, banconi al quarzo ed elettrodomestici inossidabile. Lo spazio abitativo all'aperto è costituito da un 610 piedi quadrati. ponte con ringhiere nere.

La cucina è fornita per le vostre esigenze e dispone di lavastoviglie, set completo di pentole e padelle, set di coltelli da cucina, forno, piatti, tazze, tazze, ciotole, tagliere e utensili da cucina. Forniamo anche un tostapane, forno a microonde, bollitore, macchina per il caffè e frullatore. Aiutati con una qualsiasi delle spezie disponibili. Sono inoltre disponibili sacchetti per la spazzatura e asciugamani.

I due bagni sono provvisti di asciugamani, sapone per le mani e carta igienica. Ogni letto dispone di un comodo e nuovo materasso, cuscini, lenzuola e trapunte. Cuscini, lenzuola e coperte extra sono disponibili nell'armadio della biancheria.

La sala da pranzo ha un tavolo da pranzo in vetro a 6 posti e 4 sgabelli aggiuntivi. Vi è un ampio soggiorno a pianta aperta, con camino elettrico e comodi posti a sedere. Le porte scorrevoli si aprono sul grande ponte / area grill.

La master suite occupa l'ultimo piano e dispone di un'area studio / den, cabina armadio e bagno padronale di dimensioni considerevoli con vasca idromassaggio ad aria, doccia e doppio lavabo e smart TV a schermo piatto montato V.

Completano il primo livello due camere da letto e un bagno completo. Due letti gemelli occupano una camera da letto e un letto matrimoniale nella seconda camera.

Al piano inferiore, il seminterrato esce sul davanti della casa e funge anche da sala giochi per famiglie. Vi è una grande area di intrattenimento con un elegante divano letto Lazzoni e una TV da 55 ". Offriamo molti giochi, oltre a Internet e accesso a canali intelligenti T. V. Il tavolo da biliardo e quelli da poker sono fantastici per intrattenere gli ospiti.

La zona lavanderia ha una lavatrice e asciugatrice full size e forniamo detersivo per bucato, ammorbidente e fogli asciugatrice.

Gli ospiti hanno accesso a tutta la casa tranne l'armadio del seminterrato, che usiamo come deposito.

Pros and Cons

My husband and I rented this house for Thanksgiving. The positive reviews and location made the home perfect for a family dinner. The cost for two nights was $1593. Below is a summary of our stay: Pros: Cathedral windows, lots of natural light, private, quiet neighborhood, modern furnishings, electric fireplace, clean rooms. The master bedroom sitting area has a flat-screen TV, Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and dual sinks. The spacious kitchen has lots of counter space. The basement/game room has a flat-screen TV, card table, and ping-pong table. Cons: The fridge icemaker was not hooked up. There were two icetrays. Few pots and pans. Three baking sheets were unclean.The two oven mitts were worn and oily. Two stove burners did not work. The fireplace did not work. We had to open a vent on the floor to switch it on. A strong and lingering sewer smell permeated the house on Thanksgiving Day. There was no lighter or matches to light the firepit. The WiFi instructions were incorrect. There was no paper with instructions about the house (ex: thermostat, TV remotes, garbage/recycling). The pillows were flat. TV in the master bedroom & basement did not work. Ping-pong net was broken. Master bedroom is up a steep flight of stairs. This could be a problem for people with knee issues. Despite the above cons, we had to make do and enjoyed our stay. But I would expect a host to pay more attention to details for the high rental cost, especially for a holiday weekend. I hope this helps.

A Gem

Betty’s house was impeccably clean, simply furnished and designed. Both our family and friends, along with kids had a wonderful time. The kitchen was very well stocked with new pans, plates. We will definitely come back.

Lovely late summer stay

Even though it was rainy, there was enough entertainment within the house to keep us occupied. I'd also recommend checking out Saugerties. Definitely had a lot of fun there as well.

Beautiful and private retreat

We really enjoyed a family reunion in this spacious home in the woods. When you drive onto this property you take in the modern home with a wrap around deck and soaring glass windows. The home is modern, clean and set up for fun. We especially enjoyed the fire pit for late night s’mores, the game table for ping pong and cards. The master bedroom suite, privately on it’s own on the second floor, was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect to see the falls, visit Hunter Mountain and explore Hudson Valley towns.

Ideal Stay!

Betty was a wonderful host and her property is fantastic. We stayed with our two kids (ages 6 and 2) and couldn’t have been happier. The house is immaculate and very well appointed/decorated. The basement was a lot of fun, nice big yard to run around in, and the firepit was a nice touch. Would highly recommend!

Blissful retreat in the Catskills

Perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a true escape. So nice to stay in a place that is clearly set up for visitors to enjoy themselves and feel at home. Spotlessly clean, uncluttered and every imaginable thing you might need seems to be there. We were there to ski at Hunter, which we enjoyed but also just loved being at the house, ligthing a fire and relaxing in the great room or hot tub. The hosts have done a wonderful job and are also enthusiastically helpful. Just a lovely house!

Phenomenal

Betty's home was better than I even imagined! The location was excellent, the deck + outdoor space made for a great escape from the city. The interior is airy and perfect for groups -- there were 5 of us but there is more than enough room to have accommodated a few more. You can tell the property owners really care for the space and its visitors -- there were so many little touches that made our stay excellent :) We can't wait to come stay again!

Indeed a zen retreat

I stayed here for 3 nights by myself just to chill & unwind from city life. I can’t think of a better place to do this. The house is really lovely & well-designed. I also communicated a couple of times with Betty & she is very helpful & responsive. Would definitely recommend this zen getaway to anyone.
