There is another guest next door with a dog and cat very nice.

I have stayed in many Vrbo rentals, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. This house was originally listed as an “entire home” with a private, fenced in backyard and pool. After I booked this rental, the listing was updated to reflect that the house is a duplex with a shared backyard and pool. This update was not communicated with me, so you can imagine my surprise upon arrival. Aside from the false advertising, the house was FILTHY. Absolutely disgusting. There was hair and dirt all over the floors and showers. The showers barely drained so we were standing in dirty water and hair that was not from us. The house smells quite foul and the air vents are caked with dirt/dust. The AC barely worked, and it’s summer in Florida… We tried to book a different Vrbo as soon as we got there but were unable to due to the short notice. We had to stay as we were part of a wedding, otherwise we would’ve just gone home.We contacted the host AND Vrbo. We have yet to receive a response. DO NOT BOOK HERE. It was the biggest waste of time and money.

Misrepresented

This property is NOT what it appears. For starters, the "owner" is only a tenant himself. This is a shared property. In other words, the backyard and pool area are shared with the lady next door as are the laundry facilities. We were told by this woman that the back doors do not lock and that there have been many people like ourselves upset with the arrangement. We also were not given the check in instructions despite several messages left on VRBO. We did not receive them until we had been at the property for 30 minutes. We were only able to contact Troy because the neighbor gave us his number.We cannot attest to the condition of the inside as we did not stay. We ended up in a hotel for the week. To his credit, he did immediately refund our money.

Cute house, great location, host was wonderful! Please ask host if Air-conditioning has been fixed before booking in the summer, it wasn't working very well during the day, though the host sent someone out to check on it for us. Also note there is a long-term renter in an attached building, you share the pool and patio, and there is no swimming after 10pm.
