First and foremost this isn’t your typical hotel where there’s a front desk. If you need anything you have to “text a number.” I had an incident where I was provided with the code to the front door and my room at approx 2:30 pm on Friday 8/15 and I had booked the room til 8/17. After I had came into the room, I was in there for no more than 5 minutes when I had used the restroom to pee and upon flushing the toilet, there was a leak in one of their pipes which caused an explosion of water and led to flooding my bathroom. After I had experienced this I had flagged down the cleaners and they said they would have to contact their boss to “see what they can do.” After that I had reached out to the number provided for guests and spoke with Monty via text and told him about the situation. He then states he is unable to move me and the best he could do was to have them clean the bathroom. The fact that the hotel is fully booked is out of his control and I totally understand that. What really upset me was that instead of trying to make the situation better when I had asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience he states that he allowed me to have “early check in” when check in was at 3 and he had allowed me to check in at 230 when again, he sent me the code for the room I did not ask for it. And then to make things worse when I had asked again for some sort of compensation he states I could have ONE item from the minibar. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend.
