Questo non è il tipico noleggio di case vacanze a Palm Springs. Questo mini resort del Mid-Century è stato creato da West Elm, una filiale di Williams-Sonoma nell'ambito della Modernism Week 2017. Completamente ristrutturato dentro e fuori. yard stile resort molto privato. CASA CONCEPT DI ALTO STILE CREATA DAL MARCHIO NAZIONALE
The West Elm House 2017: The Alexander è stata una casa idea creata per ispirare e guidare gli appassionati di architettura e design quando si tratta di modernizzare una casa della metà del secolo per il modo in cui viviamo oggi. È stato in tour durante la settimana del Modernismo di Palm Springs 2017 ed è stato pubblicato su California Homes Magazine. Concediti una vacanza in questo Living Show Room - la perfetta "Midcentury to Next-Century Transformation" di un'iconica casa degli anni '50 costruita originariamente dalla Alexander Construction Company e poi rimodellata da Solterra Builders. Il team di design di West Elm ha utilizzato la sua linea di prodotti di divani, tavoli, letti, illuminazione e accessori biologici, fatti a mano, di provenienza sostenibile per arredare questa casa classica (circa 1958).

Assolutamente splendida rimodellare. Questa proprietà è stato restaurato - rispettando il suo pedigree architettonico durante l'aggiornamento per il modo in cui viviamo oggi. La ristrutturazione ha conservato il concetto aperto piano originale pavimento, lucernari, pavimenti in cemento e posta iconico e soffitti con travi - mentre dandogli una nuova veste completamente "prossimo secolo" con tutti i nuovi cucina e bagni, hi accesso internet ad alta velocità, sistema di climatizzazione aggiornato, 4 intelligenti televisori e iPod stazioni di ricarica. Tutta la parte anteriore e posteriore della casa sono dotate di pareti mobili di vetro - che si confondono i confini tra vita interna ed esterna in vero Palm Springs in stile.

I QUARTI DORMI
Tutte le camere sono dotate di ampio spazio di archiviazione, TV a schermo piatto e comodi materassi king-size di Casper, l'ultimo sistema di sonno in memory foam. La camera da letto principale offre una cabina armadio, zona, accesso diretto alla piscina e un bagno privato con due lavabi e una doccia di lusso che collega verso l'esterno seduta. Le due camere sono dotate di re i propri cortili - ciascuno con una zona privata firepit salotto, una doccia esterna, e splendida vista sulle montagne.

Completamente murata per la privacy, l'intera proprietà si sente come un resort di lusso con la sua grande concetto area piscina, padiglione vita all'aperto, aree di gioco, 5 caratteristiche del fuoco, 3 docce esterne, cene all'aperto, barbecue a gas e sdraio a bordo piscina. stile moderno sofisticato incontra 1950 sensibilità per creare questo spazio all'aperto favolosa che ha certamente il Fattore Wow.

LA POSIZIONE
Questa spettacolare casa si trova in una tranquilla strada residenziale nel quartiere di Little Beverly Hills a Palm Springs - un'enclave intima di 84 case unifamiliari - tutte costruite dalla Alexander Construction Company (con alcuni Meiselmans sul perimetro) tra il 1957 e il 1959. Questo molto retrò pittoresca comunità,, calpestabile è delimitata su due lati da un campo da golf. L'enfasi è sulla vita facile sotto il sole. Il trambusto di Palm Springs sembra come se è miglia di distanza da questa piccola parte sonnolenta della città - ma negozi di alimentari, posti in cui mangiare casuali, paninoteche, chioschi di hamburger e centro di Palm Springs sono tutti a pochi isolati di distanza. Very nice place for smaller group or family. Clean and located on a quiet residential street. As a commercial rental, doesn't feel homey, which may or may not be a plus, depending on your point of view. We enjoyed the short bocce court and spa

Christmas in the Desert

West Elm House was a perfect place for us to be together as a family for Christmas! There were 5 of us; there was plenty of room for everyone to be together in one place comfortably and also many different areas inside and out for people to 'get away'. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted - which was important to us - since we would be eating 2 different holiday meals there. It was perfect!

Amazing Property for our family

We had an awesome stay at the West Elm house. Every last detail of this home allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. We ended up canceling restaurant reservations just to stay and enjoy the back yard and perfect setup. We will be back again!

What an amazing house! Beautiful through and through, every detail was perfect. It was the heat of August but the pool kept us cool. Everything was immaculate, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our Own Resort

Our family of four spent a wonderful five days and nights at the West Elm House: Alexander. It was like having our own resort. The pictures of the house were great and had our hopes up, but arriving in person it was even better that we expected. Inside and out. The house was great. Also, ACME, the property manager, was great. There was an item missing in the kitchen which they had delivered within a few hours. They checked in repeatedly too to see if we needed everything. We would definitely go back and would definitely recommend the West Elm House: Alexander.

An Amazing Staycation!

We visited during an extreme heat wave and were comfortable beyond our expectations! The house stayed cool, the pool was perfect, and we were still able to create an open feeling between the indoor and outdoor areas. The pool gets plenty of shade in the afternoons, but there was also still plenty of areas for sunbathing. The pool cleaner came twice while we were there, which was much appreciated and needed since the wind blows debris into the pool each night. The only issues we had were with the dishwasher, which didn’t seem to get anything clean, although it could’ve been user error. There were also very few kitchen utensils for cooking, but we made it work! First world problems. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Acme!

Relaxing stay in Mid century modern dream

We had the best stay at the West Elm house! The home is absolutely beautiful and super clean. Beds are very comfy and the backyard is perfection! We loved how the pool had a nice shallow pad which was perfect for our kids, age 2 and 5. The pool area is shaded around 3pm, which was nice, even though it was only in the mid 80s during our stay. The flowering plants near the pool smelled wonderful which was a nice surprise. It was all just so dreamy and wonderful that my husband and I decided we would most definitely want to stay here again in the fall. We didn’t want to leave!

Exceeded All Expectations

In the current pandemic environment, we set a goal of finding a house that, once we arrived, we wouldn't want to leave. The backyard (pool, putting green, bacci court, hammock and numerous seating/hangout areas) and overall layout of the home with separate patio areas for each bedroom exceeded this requirement. It was close to grocery stores and the downtown area for our quick runs out for take out and food supplies. We will definitely be back to this home whenever our travels take us back to Palm Springs.

Well equipped & fun property in Palm Springs

We had a ton of fun at the house! There is a bocce court, pool, outdoor fire places, mini putt - it is super fun. Rooms are all west elm decorated, which wasn’t my personal taste but everything was super comfortable and well thought out! I would recconend this house to anyone!!

Perfection in Palm Springs

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at the West Elm: Alexander House. Everything was spotless upon arrival. The property is located in a quiet residential street with minimal noise from neighbors. The yard is designed to get maximum morning and afternoon shade, meaning we could enjoy the yard in the middle of summer with adequate shade. From 3pm the pool is almost entirely shaded which made a big difference for the kids, especially in the peak of summer. The tanning shelf (shallow end) is large enough for younger kids to enjoy and the water feature was very popular. Note that the desert can be drying to kid's skin so bring plenty of moisturizer. Inside, the house has everything you need for cooking and relaxing. Upon arrival, there were four chilled margarita glasses in the freezer - a great touch. The outdoor ice machine was a huge hit for both adults and kids. We used the big outdoor dining table outside on the cooler evenings. If there was one thing we would add to the kitchen it would be an ice cream scoop :-) We had only a few minor issues during our stay, ie. the WiFi played up when we arrived but Acme were quick to remedy this for us. Ditto for some smaller issues such as running out of dish liquid. A bottle was promptly left at our front door. Overall, highly recommend this property and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Wonderful vacation!

We loved this house and had a wonderful stay. It was even better in person than in the pictures. Everything was clean and the furnishings were new and well taken care of. We plan to return!

Amazing Mid Century Modern Vacation Home

This property is beautiful both inside and out! Inside, it is impeccably furnished with no detail overlooked - the house comes with all the right amenities to make for a fabulous stay. The pool is the perfect size with a tanning deck, LED colored lights and bubbles. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the shade as well. The home is located in a great location, convenient to the airport (no planes overhead) and a short distance to downtown. We will definitely stay again!

Weekend getaway

Beautiful property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool is the best part, especially during the summer months. The pool was in shade by 3:30 every day so it made the heat manageable! We would definitely stay there again.

Absolute Heaven

This home is just unreal. From the moment we stepped in the door, we were just blown away. The attention to detail is evident throughout the home. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked. The beds could not be comfier. And the outdoor area makes you never want to leave the house. Our only compliant was that the wifi was very slow. Whenever I needed to work, I had to use my phone as a hotspot. Other than that, this place is just perfection, and we cannot wait to go back!

Great weather perfect house

We found everything to be great except a issue with the hot tub bubblers. We did have someone stop by.to take a look at it. Also the lady that met us left her sunglasses I tried texting her to come back but she never did. I would recommend the house and company to others this has been our 8th time renting between us friends using different friends as the coordinator. We plan on booking again for next year

Great house with all the bells and whistles.

The house is as good as the pictures suggest. It has a lot of great spaces to hang out in the sun or in the shade. The kitchen if very well equipped, maybe better than your regular home. Every bedroom is comfortable and has little touches like private water and coffee maker, as well as the private patio. It is an under $10 UberX ride to the restaurants and bars, or a nice leisurely walk to lunch. Simply a 10.
