“It was a great house for a group of people loved the area. some maintenance is needed - Toilet leaking on floor cistern broken ,running out of water while in shower ,9 people unable to use toilet in the morning the manager addressed this quickly but water pressure took a long time to come through ,a better pump is needed, shower fan not working ,a little garden maintenance .As a food safety supervisor I do not recommend leaving opened food in fridge and pantry ,you don't know how long it has...

“This is a beautifully styled property that oozes tranquillity and relaxation. The bed was so comfortable, the fires cosy and the bath luxurious. We thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway. All of the extra touches (Jurlique bathroom products, delicious breakfast food etc) really made it special.”

“Thank you Tracy and Chris, it was wonderful to stay at your property, peaceful and quiet, great quality beds and the couch was heavenly. Lovely view out the windows, the alpacas so sweet, their eyes amazing. Great size TV (would love to have one that size). Also visited the sheep, they all came over to say hello. “The elevated cottage is right on the river with direct access to the water. You can sit on the deck, sipping gin & tonics, catch fish from the private jetty, watch water activity and the majestic sunsets, it’s superb. Recommend hiring a speed boat for multi-day stays if you have a family - Murray Bridge Speed Boat hire even delivers the boat direct to the private jetty!”

“Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.”

“I can only say that our eight night stay was wonderful. The apartment Sunset was beautifully appointed and had everything that we needed. We were welcomed with fresh eggs and some chocolates. We were in easy driving distance of some lovely towns and even made it to the Morphettville races. Our last day was simply spent in the apartment and the backyard. Beautiful and relaxing. Altogether a gem!”
