“We stayed for 1 night. We drove 6 hours to get to Palmerston North to visit a sick family member in Hospital. We were expecting secure off street parking, as that was what was advertised, but there was none available as the hotel one was full (7 car spots). The guy at the check in was not interested and mumbled something about a carpark down the road that may be available. It was like we had offended him somehow by asking where we could park.
