Il nostro cottage, "Miller's High Life", si trova su un terreno di fronte all'oceano di un ettaro con circa mezzo ettaro recintato per permettere ai tuoi compagni di camminare e correre liberi. Questa zona del punto si chiama Mud Cove, dove la bassa marea fornisce un immenso banco di sabbia per bombardamenti e l'alta marea offre una pesca eccezionale. The Cottage contiene una grande sala che comprende la cucina, soggiorno e zona pranzo con tre porte scorrevoli in vetro che offrono una vista panoramica sull'oceano. Attraversa le porte di una veranda per goderti albe e tramonti dal tuo dondolo. Il portico dello schermo e la camera da letto principale si aprono sul ponte per prendere il sole con una scala posteriore fino alla doccia esterna con acqua calda chiusa. Amaca, tavolo da picnic, panca altalena e grill a gas sono sotto casa per cucinare all'aperto e intrattenimento. Pavimenti in legno raschiati con moquette in lana Karastan nella grande camera da letto principale. Uno schermo piatto da 42 "T. V. è nella camera da letto principale e uno schermo piatto da 46" T. V. è nella grande sala. Mezzo bagno annesso alla camera da letto principale con bagno completo nella hall. La camera "Minnie's" ha due letti gemelli, cassettiera, scrivania in vimini e sedia. Master ha un re letto, comodini, piccolo scrigno e sedia. La piattaforma ha le panche del tek, due sedie di Adirondack e due chaises di legno. Per mangiare, gli adulti possono sedersi nell'isola della cucina su alte sedie da regista con i bambini accanto a loro al tavolo da pranzo. L'arredamento del soggiorno comprende un grande divano, un futon matrimoniale, una sedia futon con poggiapiedi, due tavolini da caffè perfetti per giocare a carte, una L. L. Letto per cani in denim, dog hutch e due sedie in vimini per sedersi se sei bagnato dal nuoto. Piumini fatti a mano e un sacco di libri e cuscini per rannicchiarsi e leggere. Quarantacinque minuti da Tallahassee e quindici minuti dal ponte per cenare fuori da Angelo o The Tropical Trader. Venti minuti a St. Campo da golf di James Bay. Lunga strada privata per un facile parcheggio e lavatrice / asciugatrice nel ripostiglio sotto casa.

The cottage is perfectly clean and furnished with many cozy touches as well as beautiful art. Wendy is one of the most friendly and welcoming hosts of any place where we've visited. What we enjoy the most about the house is the location in a quiet, non-crowded area away from traffic, with only the birds and sea life surrounding us. The view of sunrise and sunset from the screened porch is beyond compare!

We loved everything about the property. Our favorite part was being able to sit out on the screened in porch, Looking out to the ocean. Sitting on the beach in front of the home is great. No one else was around but one other couple. The house is well stocked especially the kitchen. We used the gas grill every night. We went to My-way seafood in Panacea and purchased local fish, shrimp and spiney lobster. So good! Highly recommend them for fresh seafood. The house is well taken care of and very clean. Wendy is a wonderful, thoughtful host. Loved all the goodies she left for us. She communicated with us on everything we needed to know about the home very clearly. Easy check-in and out.Highly recommend Wendy’s place. We will be back.Thanks again! Adele & John

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful and peaceful oceanfront cottage! The views from the deck, screened porch, and inside the cottage were beautiful, as well as the sounds of the surf. We saw dolphins, pelicans, ospreys, ducks, and other shore birds. The place is so well appointed - we didn't want to leave. We planned to cook in since the kitchen has everything you would need, but we ended up eating out in Panacea instead since the food was so good. The bike path is also so convenient and fun. Communication was excellent. We can't wait to return!

The Forgotten Coast

A cute and cozy cottage right on the beach. Perfect location. Fishing off the beach was great. Caught Spotted Trout, Whiting, Ladyfish and Sail Catfish. The cottage was spotless and nicely furnished and decorated. Definitely want to go back for another visit and hopefully stay for a couple of weeks. One week was just not enough.

Quiet perfection!

We have stayed with Wendy at her beautiful cottage four times now. That should tell you everything you need to know. We are dog lovers and Wendy has the perfect set up. Large fenced in yard dog bed and even dog friendly quilts. It is rural so you have to be ready to truly relax.

Peaceful Paradise

The cottage was perfect for our first "empty nester" vacation after sending the kids off to college. Ms Wendy provided thoughtful welcome gifts (eggs, muffins, jam, wine!) that were very much appreciated as well as the dog bed and beautiful quilts to keep warm in the colder months. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Loved it!

This home with its incredible view was one of the most comfortable, cozy cottages we have ever stayed at. Extremely well stocked with anything you might need. The screened deck with rockers and a swing was a great place to watch both sunrises and sunsets. A beautiful, natural location to unwind! Wendy was a great host - appreciated all the extras!

Perfection

There are so many wonderful things to say about this cottage! It was exactly like the listing but better. Wendy does an amazing job making it warm and cozy and feel like home as soon as you walk in. The place was super clean ,smelled amazing, and had everything we needed for our stay and more….the personal touches and surprises were so heartwarming and thoughtful. This is the best rental we have stayed in hands down. Wendy was great with communication and the entire week was easy and not stressful . The location was great! It was quiet, beautiful, and deserted in February…perfect. The sandbar was so much fun and we can’t wait to go back!.

What a pleasure to have a window on the world of nature! No matter the weather we could watch nature from our vantage point. Magnificent sunrises and sunsets, wildlife and changing weather conditions as well as an incredible night sky. Lovely stay!

Superb comfortable stay at perfect cottage

This was our first stay at the cottage but certainly will not be our last. This lovely home by the sea is superbly located a few steps from the beach. Wendy is a sweet owner who provided such an incredible stay and excellent communication. Our small family and doggie had a wonderful, relaxing time walking on beach, watching sharks and dolphins, and enjoying amazing sunrises and even more beautiful sunsets and starry nights. The cottage was super clean upon arrival, smelled fresh, and a lovely bottle of wine greeted us on counter. Wendy thoughtfully provided generous starter breakfast supplies. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. The beds, sheets, and pillows soooo comfortable! Pet quilts and bed were provided for pooch’s comfort too. We adored the under area of home with rope lighting and shower, the fully enclosed yard, the million dollar views from deck and screened in porch. We just sat back and enjoyed EVERYTHING!

Our stay was wonderful in this beautiful cottage on the beach! Our host made sure all needs were met. Comfortable beds and nice bedding. Great balcony and screened in porch. Books, games and dvds available. Well equipped kitchen. Nice furniture and artwork. This was our third stay and we will return.

Quiet and Beautiful

This was a perfect vacation until Helene made us leave. However, the house was great, the beach was great and the host was beyond great. She prepared us with every bit of information we could want and even kept up with the weather and mandates, so we didn't have to. I look forward to making up for our shortened vacation.

Home Away From Home

Wendy is one of the best host we have ever had in all of our years traveling together. We arrived to a remarkably clean cottage just steps away from the ocean. We immediately felt at home with the nice gestures of water, wine and breakfast items she had for us to enjoy. The cottage truly has a million dollar view.
