The Spotted Grouper - Old Florida Beach Bungalow

The Spotted Grouper è un delizioso bungalow sulla spiaggia della Vecchia Florida circondato da contorte Sand Live Oaks. Siamo situati a Bald Point, accanto a Alligator Point, FL, in un piccolo e tranquillo quartiere balneare lungo la Forgotten Coast, circondato da Bald Point State Park.
La casa si trova a 100 metri dal Golfo - per arrivarci basta camminare su Grouper Street fino all'acqua - non ci sono strade da attraversare. È una spiaggia naturale molto isolata con molta vita marina dove puoi goderti tutta la bellezza della natura. Hai una vista sul golfo dal soggiorno, nonché il portico e il patio e il suono dell'oceano può farti addormentare la notte. La pesca è fantastica, così come i ristoranti locali e i mercati di pesce. La casa è al piano terra, quindi non hai le scale da salire, il che lo rende molto comodo per trasportare valigie e generi alimentari in casa. Può ospitare 4 persone con 1 letto matrimoniale e 1 letto matrimoniale.
Siamo 45 miglia a sud di Tallahassee, 340 miglia a sud di Atlanta. The Spotted Grouper rende la vacanza perfetta se ti piace una zona tranquilla che NON ha una spiaggia affollata con una ricca fauna selvatica e natura che ricorda la "Vecchia Florida".

Cute, quaint cottage a short walk to the beach. We had a wonderful time. Rental was well equipped. Owner very attentive. The AC went out at 7pm, called the owner and she had a repairman there within the hour. Hope to visit again soon!

First trip for the grandbabies. The beach was close and no one else was on the beach except us. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Owner responded quickly with any questions i had. Very nice stay.

The Spotted Grouper provided the perfect get away! The bungalow is spotlessly clean, has everthing one could possibly need to feel at home, well positioned in a quiet friendly neighborhood, and located in and near a nature preserve area. We highly recommend staying here. We explored the natural areas, including the gulf in a 16' canoe. So much wildlife to enjoy. Fishing, bird watching, cooking and enjoying each others company filled our days. Never turned on the tv or radio. A total escape from the rat race! We enjoyed the outdoor shower, grilled on the Weber, and relaxed in the screen porch. We hope to return next year. Sheree, the owner, was wonderful to work with. She was so kind and helpful. She even gave us fishing bait suggestions.

This place is truly magical! You can hear the waves crashing on the shore from the porch and an unspoiled, secluded beach is just a few steps away. Clean and fully stocked, Sheree’s place is phenomenal. We can’t wait to come back!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Spotted Grouper. It never disappoints . We absolutely adore this place every time we visit. If you are looking for peace, tranquility , and the beauty of nature surrounding you then book this place. This truly is a hidden treasure on the forgotten coast. You are almost always the only ones on the beach. The wildlife is stunning. Our favorites are around 7PM when the sandbars start to form & you can walkout & collect all sorts of treasures. To Do: 1) Watch sunrise 2) Relax 3) Rest 4) Watch sunset 5) Repeat 1-4 daily Sheree is amazing to work with. Thank you for sharing your treasure with us! We will definitely be back again.

The whole process with Sheree was easy! The bungalo was cozy, a great place to relax. Good fising on the adjacent beach. It was quiet, and perfectly secluded for us. We will definately rent the bungalo again.

The Spotted Grouper was exactly what my wife and I needed, a quiet, peaceful respite from our stressful jobs and hectic lives in a large urban area. The cottage is unassuming, but perfect for a kicked-back beach getaway. It had everything we needed, and the screened-in porch with a vintage glider is icing on the cake. Two large restaurants in Panacea - Angelo’s and The Trident - just a short drive from the cottage - are superb, definitely worth checking out. Just down the road is Bald Point State Park, with a beautiful white sand beach we had all to ourselves and hiking trails, where we spent a full morning exploring. We’ve vacationed in the Florida Panhandle many times, but we agreed that the week we spent at the Spotted Grouper was our best vacation yet. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had another great stay at the Spotted Grouper. Sharee is an awesome host and so easy to work with. Our only "complaint" was that our stay was too short :) We wished we would have had the time to stay longer. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing get away, this is the place!

First of all I want to say how accommodating and sweet that Sheree is! She certainly made us feel comfortable staying there. The place was exactly as I saw it online and very close to the beach. I know they're probably a nuisance but I was very excited that I got to see a bear in our driveway! The house was very comfortable and I did not want to leave! It had everything we needed for our stay! It's a very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were also very sweet. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who's looking for a nice quiet getaway!
