This is our 3rd Dreams that we've vacation at as a family of 4, and if this had been the only one, I would tell people to not stay at a Dreams. The pools had algae and were murky, so my daughters who would have been in the pool all day, everyday if I let them, didn't even want to swim in it after the first 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful (except the towel guy who just sat on his phone). The Preferred Club has great drinks, mostly better food, and the view and staff were great. There seems to be way to many employees at the VIP desks doing nothing, and only one person that actually checks guests in and out. Kids Club doesn't offer the kids to get food there during lunch or dinner hours (other Dreams locations have you select dinner when you check them in that evening and they eat at Kids Club, so you can have an adult dinner somewhere else at the same time. Nightly entertainment was also a HUGE disappointment...there wasn't really any, except mediocre salsa dancers one night and then the burning of the Christmas tree?? All the bell hop guys are extremely helpful and kind. There are less restaurant options (mainly for dinner only 3) than at other Dreams properties, and unfortunately we were unimpressed by the food quality and variety. Breakfast is the best meal of the day on the property, and it is downhill from there. Unfortunately, the property feels run down and less clean and maintained than other Dreams properties. The view and location are nice.
