The basics of this high rise apartment were fine. Security was great, you can catch ubers easily in a convenient neighborhood, the pool and gym areas were great. There were a few things that would be easily solved ahead of guests arriving that could make the stay much better. A good mopping of the floors (including the laundry area) would be helpful. There was a smell of insecticide when we arrived and the next day and days after we did see small roaches around - not an infestation - but a handful which in my opinion is too many. The coffee pot was broken. The door knobs on two of the rooms were also broken. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. None of the lamps worked - they are decorative but not operable. There are no cleaning items of any sort, not even a spray to wipe down counters or a spill so you will need to bring everything - including trash bags or a good kitchen cleaning soap. The guy who greeted us was very friendly though. We didn't bother complaining as it was our first trip there and we didn't want to be spoilers but we visited some friends who stayed elsewhere and we would likely do the same next time. Panama is absolutely AWESOME.
