Walk to Old St Andrews from cozy bungalow on Lake Huntington: The Crow’s Nest

The three-bedroom two bath bungalow sits on a hill, overlooking tranquil Lake Huntington. A private dock offers a convenient spot to launch your paddle board, or Kayak and enjoy a paddle adventure on Lake Huntington and into St. Andrews Bay. There is plenty of space to park your own boat in the driveway then launch it from one of the nearby boat launches when you are ready. You can also book a fishing trip or tour of the waterfront with Into the Gulf Excursions, (850) 857-2503, conducted by Captain Hugh Hackney aboard the Take it Izzy.
There is a lot to do while staying at The Crow’s Nest. The shops and restaurants of Old Saint Andrews are in walking distance just a few blocks away on Beck Avenue. St Andrews State Park has the best beach in the area and is a 15 minute drive away. Or you may want to explore Panama City Beach. If you decide to stay at home, enjoy the view of the lake from the screened porch. You may also enjoy a challenging game of corn hole in the back yard.
On Saturdays explore St Andrews Farmers Market from 9 am to 1 pm at Oaks by the Bay Park at the end of Beck Avenue. Oaks by the Bay Park has history plaques, beautiful sea-life totems, cute gazebo and a nice boardwalk down to the beach with sitting areas overlooking St. Andrews Bay. It is a short walk from restaurants and other unique shops on Beck Avenue.
The Crow’s Nest offers accommodations to make your stay as restful and pleasant as you like from the time you arrive until you depart. The Crow’s Nest… a sign that all is well…

Property was easy to find. Ms. Lee was extremely welcoming and always had a fast response. Entering the house it had a charming cozy feel and everything about it was very clean! We loved it was away from the crowd and the historic town within walking distance was great! Only a drive over the bridge to get to the beaches. The dock was an added bonus if you like to fish as we do! Will definitely use this property again!!

Great property for our family

I would definitely recommend this property. Everything about the property was as advertised. The beds were comfy, the porch and dock were fun, and the communication was great. Everyone had a great time. One minor suggestion, the ladies all would have liked a full length mirror.

Super Cute Crow's Nest!!

We absolutely loved staying in this extremely clean and comfortable spot. It was too hot and humid to really enjoy the huge front porch, but it made a wonderful landing spot to unload and reload our salty, sandy selves multiple times a day, lol. There were some extra nice touches, such as a variety of salad dressings in the spotless fridge; other kitchen basics like oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee; plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in both showers, extra toilet paper, and luxurious towels that were both soft and absorbent. Every room was more spacious than we anticipated. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!
