Great escape

Excellent stay. bungalows have great views..jacuzzi on patio excellent.. ..woke up to a surprise visit from a peacock and fish pond. Herbs all around made nice herbal tea.. As a chef myself i rate the food as very good.. i stay often last three visit chef must have changed great improvment.. considering the reasonable price of stay....only criticism should have 2 choices for starters and deserts ..maybe a salad.. Service very good..nice friendly staff all round.. spa pools and sauna very clean ..mirela was very freindly thanx looking forward to next visit

The only good thing about this resort is the quiet and calm of the place. The rooms are very minimal, small TV from 15 years ago, not much space in room, WiFi that barely works, no room service. We were put in a room with a buzzing electricity sound that was only resolved 6 hours after we complained when we were moved to another room. The most disappointing part was the spa, which should have been the best part. We felt like we were rushed through the whole experienced, didn’t even get the chance to experience the pools. We ordered a 65 minutes massage but only received a 45 minute massage and had to fight with reception to get the correct price (which never happened). I would not recommend this place if you truly wish a relaxing and accommodating resort and staff.

Superb Accommodation and Spa

The Staff are super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the whole ambience of the place. Set in the hills between Paphos and Polis the hotel grounds are tree lined and peaceful. We had a garden bungalow with bedroom, bathroom and lounge, it was very clean and very tranquil. The Spa facilities are excellent and Roxanna on reception was exceptional in her explanations. Finally, the food was great, lovely breakfast which is self service but hot dishes off the menu. Dinner is well presented and very tasty. Thanks to Soula, Mirka and Melina and the rest of the staff who were so professional and kind in the restaurant.

Ιδανικό μέρος για ξεκούραση και χαλάρωση. Πέραν από τις εξαιρετικές εγκαταστάσεις, διαθέτει και πολύ ωραίο φαγητό. Αξίζει επίσης να επισκεφθείτε τα σπα του, ενώ στο ξενοδοχείο επικρατεί ησυχία και το προσωπικό είναι πολύ εξυπηρετικό.

Приятные впечатления

Во второй декаде марта были постояльцами и осталось об этом месте противоречивое впечатление... Безусловно отдельный плюс- это великолепное расположение отеля, удачно вписанного в природный ландшафт- кругом цитрусовые рощи, миндальные деревья и живописные виды. Прям на территории сохранённая часовенка 13века. Нас заселили в основном корпусе(отремонтированном здании монастыря) в номере стандарт (бывшая келья). Номер очень просторный и с высоченным потолком, декорированный обилием дерева и камня. Не хватало только холодильника и не очень удобно сконструирован шкаф. Единение с природой оказалось для нас и небольшим минусом- в туалете периодично случались облавы муравьев)) На завтраке довольно обильный вкусный шведский стол + горячие блюда заказываешь у официанта из перечня. Помимо у нас были и ужины: стартовая закуска, первое, второе на выбор (рыба/мясо + был предложен веганский вариант) и десерт. Напитки за дополнительную плату. Респект поварам за красивую подачу и вкусовые сочетания, обслуживание так же без нареканий. Общее впечатление скорее положительное, но отель немножко застрял в прошлом- при заселении самостоятельно заполняешь анкеты с персональными данными постояльцев. Плюс инфраструктуру СПА комплекса пора бы уже и прокачать, зону Кнейпа вообще не поняли- то ли не работает/ то ли что((( из трёх саун работает только одна финская, другие за доп плату в 35€, очень странно... но конечно это все мелочи, польза сероводородных вод это все компенсирует ;))

The hotel was just ok. Nothing special. Didnt like the spa which is included with the stay. The water of the pools was not warm enouph and the room of the pools was cold as well. We didnt get robes as its only for guests that pay for treatments. Kinda weird.. The dinner was just ok.

Relax and silence! Will come again

Very nice hotel, with very tasty food in restaurants and very good staff! Spa center is also good with 3 different small swimming pools. Only problem is that weekends is very busy and Sauna is not very big but is for free. For steam bath you need to pay. If you are going is better to book some massages.

Everything is as expected at the hotel, food was good, facilities good. We just had a terrible smell of damp or sewerage in our bedroom, coming from the bathroom. It was awful and got worse throughout the night. Complained to reception when we first got there, they offered us a standard room with no compensation or a prestige for 40 euros, as strong wasnt that bad at this time we stayed in spa suite. Worst decision we could of made.

This place is charming and simply beautiful! But the stay was troublesome: bad smell in the bathroom, next day room change - much smaller, ants in the bathroom as a gratis. This was sprayed next morning, but the insects returned. Going under the shower after the dinner - no hot water. Waited for some time - no water! Reception admitted there's an issue and tech team was on that. Feeling sorry that no one advised hotel guests. You get kettle, minibar and bathrobe only in the suites, not in the rooms. Gym opening hours - 9-18, which I've found very limited. It was my 3rd stay at this property and I won't be back soon. Came back tired from the spa hotel and that's not cool. Have a feeling that hotel staff don't care at all - the place will be full anyway. Restaurants and their staff are great though - best part of the stay!

Love the location and the hotel ensemble. The most relaxing place on the Earth. Superb dining (although it's a tradition, hearthy Cypriot cuisine, not light bites) and free parking. Loved the spring (included in the price only if specified in your room rate/package description, otherwise fee is 45€ pp). The suite was just great - 2 rooms, big bathroom (no heating though), big veranda and spa jacuzzi bath with sulphur water! Amazing relaxation even in a cold winter. Very nice gym and thousands of walks around the property. To be recommended.

Pros: * Amazing location, landscape and hotel itself (old monastery, charming greenery, beautiful pool (sweet, not sulphur water). * Many walking trails in area * Restaurant happy to accommodate vegetarians and food allergy requests Quiet. Most of the guests are young couples, virtually no kids. Cons: * Bathrobes only in suites. Won't get one even if you ask in case you stay in the room. * No minibar & kettle. * Food tasty, but not healthy at all (meat based, fried, etc). Don't expect spirulina, avocado, etc but typical, heavy Cypriot dishes. Again, tasty and well cooked, but not detox menu. * People smoking at the restaurant (and everywhere). * Unless explicitly said, your room won't give you access to sulphur pools in the spa. Regular price is 45€ (22.5€ on weekday or when you book a massage). * Gym opening hours very limited (9-18). Impossible to workout before the breakfast. * Sulphur pools need maintenance. Half of the things (jacuzzi beds, hydro massage) don't work. * Only sauna is open for hotel guests. Steam rooms are only for extra treatments. * Hotel staff (especially front desk) is all but warm and smiling. Nicer people at the restaurant, however not all of them speak English very well- you receive better service if you speak Greek (like elsewhere in Cyprus). * Hotel super full on the weekends due to being popular among locals. Remember: it's accessible only by car or pre-booked pick up. You need a car if you need to get out further than neighboring village.

It as my 5th or 6th visit to the resort. What I like most about this place is the kindness of its personnel at the Hotel as well as the SPA. I still see the same employees since 2013. The hotel’s location is fantastic and ideal for relaxation! It’s not the first time I visited the hotel so I noticed that it needs major maintenance in the pool and spa area as mould has accumulated. Especially in the spa area the mould is pretty disgusting. The room had no refrigerator and it also had chipped walls and the shower curtain was full of mould as well. Furthermore, they charge you for your coffee at breakfast which is supposed to be included. Overall, is overpriced for what you get and even though I love its location I will think twice next time before booking!

Ωραία όπως πάντα. Ήτανε τα γενέθλια μου οπόταν περίμενα έστω μια μικρή αναβάθμιση ή μια ευγενική χειρονομία που δεν ήρθε ποτέ... όλα καλά όμως...

Θα ξαναπάω για ξεκούραση. Καταπληκτικό!

Ξεκούραση στην πραγματική έννοια , ωραίος προορισμός για χαλάρωση όλα ήταν ωραία. Εντάξει έχει τα χρονάκια του το ξενοδοχείο αλλά είναι περιποιημένο και καθαρό.
