“The rooms are amazingly clean always, we've stay here every time were in town. The staff this last trip went over and above making sure we had what we needed to make sure our trip was comfortable. The breakfast was incredible (always), so many choices for hot or cold breakfast and what makes it stand out above the other hotels is that the hot breakfast choices change daily and you can build a grab and go bag if your on the run and cant sit down for breakfast. “We stayed in Chico during a 2 week road trip in Northern California. Our room was perfect for what we needed, a nice sofa to lounge and watch some TV shows, good WiFi connection, spacious bathroom, clean and cozy bed, and blackout shades. We were a bit hungry and the cafe provided options we found appealing and tasty for dinner. Recommend the location as it is close to major retailers in case you need to resupply.”

“Starting off there were cockroaches at the room, the microwave and fridge were in a horrible state, the towels provided were dirty; the bedding smelled horribly. The room itself looked and smelled bad. Not even 5 minutes into the room there was a roach. Really uncomfortable to rest knowing everything is so dirty”

“Hotel Diamond Chico is a beautifully restored historic hotel with large room, comfortable beds, and a fabulous continental breakfast. We stayed there 2 nights, from June 24-26, while in town for our son’s orientation at Chico State. The hotel is within close walking distance to campus, restaurants, farmer’s market, and banks. “motel to the bare bone. they don't provide enough towels and toiletry. breakfast only waffle, cereal and banana. this is not continental. everything so cheap”
