“Loved everything about this place, from the beach reads left in our room, to the warm staff (go Neal!) to the best turkey club I've ever had in my life. The location can't be beat, onsite spa was lovely, and overall, just truly a stunning stay. 11 out of 10 would recommend.”

“I am not a mean spirited person nor am I fussy. But I travel all the time and I grew up in Ocean Grove and my night at The Quaker Inn off season even was not good. For $300 my friend and I got a tiny room with two single beds, no view. When I asked for an upgrade, I got a lame excuse even though the place was empty. There was no hot water for the morning shower; no nice amenities like good soap or shampoos. Thin towels, a cheap blanket. No breakfast. One of those terrible capsule coffee...

“Even though the staff was very polite and service oriented the building was old, the showers and bathrooms were community showers and bathrooms in each floor. In the shower the handles had mold. When anyone in the building open a faucet, flushed the toilet or showered you could hear it in the dinning room area located in the basement. We were staying in the 3rd floor and the staircase was steep with a very low handrail. The floors creaked. In the middle of the night the retractable window...

“The location was perfect. A ½ block from beach. A clean area to walk on the boardwalk. Was off season so nice and empty. The rooms were updated nicely and very clean. The communication with the hotel host liaison, Bernadette, was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and filling, prepared to our specifications. It’s a quaint small establishment but a perfect getaway for the weekend. Would highly recommend!”

“This was our third time staying at this location. The first two stays were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. During the third stay after checking in, our room smelled heavily of cigarettes, especially the bathroom. The pillows had hair on them underneath the pillow cases, and there was hair on the toilet seat and around the interior of the bowl. To my understanding the property interior is smoke free. The front desk also said they are smoke free and that there should not be any smoke...

“Superior room was very nice, clean and nice bedding. One VERY DANGERIOUS item was the shower inside the bathtub. Bathtub bottom was very slippery. No rough surface or tub mat. As seniors we were so concerned that we didn’t shower second day. Grab bar was on opposite wall and difficult to reach safely. Breakfast was not looking great and expensive. We found a great diner 10 minutes away. Not a great value for price paid. Nice looking and room very nice but improvements can be made”

“Rim was clean plenty of towels and washcloths. There does seem to be some full time residence here. 1 or 2 night guests should not be given a room next to them. They're loud car starting at six a m for them to go to work.Well it's not pleasant”

“This was 1 of the most horrible stay ive had. The tv, shower, and light all not working. Hard as a rock beds. Walls so thin you and your neighbors are 1. Lied about free breakfast, its 2.99 an item. The cleaning staff cut too many corners. Also you can only have 2 towels per room. Which is ridiculous if theres 3 of you. Dont waste your time or money here. Need major improvements ”

“I never got to stay there because nobody was say the desk to check me in and was charged the Tull amount of the room through Expedia. Expedia tried to rectify it but could not reach a manager there to waive my fees. Completely unacceptable”
