“Most of the amenities weren’t available but the beauty of the chateau and the kindness of the caretakers more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to soak in the countryside, this is it. Serene, quiet and beautiful
If you don’t have a vehicle be sure to stop at the grocery before heading in. Breakfast is provided but you’re on your own for anything else. The shared kitchen is easy if you’re prepared.

“First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem.

Close to the tram stop that takes you into Bordeaux central and a Careforre City is close by.

"Good room and good breakfast. The lady at the reception was very helpful, but being alone at reception + bar + restaurant she had to manage too many things and there might be delays, I was sorry for her. There is not a real "restaurant" but they warm up ready dishes, anyway it was ok. I gave only 3 stars to sustainability because they still use one-way small shampoo bottles instead of refillable wall containers. The shampoo was good anyway. "
