“I couldn’t be happier with my stay. Everything was perfect and I love the train theme of the inn. The inn is very clean and the accommodations were excellent. The Steaming Tender restaurant located within easy walking distance from the inn will not disappoint and is a must see. The restaurant is located in the old train station and has been masterfully restored. The food is very good and the atmosphere is spot on if you’re a fan of trains. “Our stay here was terrible. The room didn’t look or feel like it had been thoroughly cleaned. The sink was disgusting with stains and black mildew. We chose a non-smoking room, but the room still had an odor. Also, the bedding had cigarette burns in them. It doesn’t appear that they launder their linens separately, which isn’t good for guests who are sensitive to smoke. “I love their breakfast, they have a good variety of different options. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was after paying my deposit n paying for the room separately; I was stopped like I was trying to steal for grabbing breakfast. I had a breakfast voucher, but when I checked in no one mentioned I needed to show staff this. So of course having someone stop you n ask “ did you pay for that” really makes me feel really small. I paid in advance to avoid this.”
