“This hotel is about a 10 minute ride to the old city. It's a little off the beaten path but that's part of why we loved it so much. They provide bikes to ride for the day, and it's only about a ten minute ride to royal gardens. The hotel rooms are very nice, and the whole facility has a very tranquil feel. The staff was also very friendly. We plan on coming back! ”

The hotel location is fairly simple to get to, located within a gated community where there are at least two guards on duty at all times that check all vehicles going in and out. “A nice hotel in a quiet secure neighborhood. Has a small coconut grove and koi ponds. It is best to rely on taxis to get around, walking places is difficult. It was very quiet but sometimes in the afternoon you could hear people working and children singing. Which was nice.”

“Insight Hostel was very calm and relaxing. While its small and has less activities compared to others in Chiangmai, it was perfect for me to sit back with nature and relax. The environment was amazing with big trees and all traditional houses was great. Ultimately I ended up with fond memories of a place with staff that made me feel like family.
