“It’s in a fabulous location 450 metres (up hill) from the central railway station and only 200 Metres from most of the best shopping in Southampton. I will be back if I cruise out of Southampton again - only 10 minutes in a taxi to the port which cost £12”

“Room is clean, staff is nice, the kitchen is clean. Therefore it was hard to check in when you first come, no sign, no number to contact because no office there. Should have a note to contact the landlord.”

“Stayed one night before our cruise out of Southampton. Modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. About a two minute walk to a large shopping center and restaurants. Quick taxi to the cruise port in the morning. Would highly recommend staying at the Moxy.”

“Al prezzo pagato non si può avere una stanza in cui il bagno è un loculo e mancano servizi essenziali quali phon e frigobar. Il letto era buono, e anche la pulizia era accurata. Ma il water ricavato in uno spazio minuscolo e angusto è assurdo. Colazione appena sufficiente e quasi limitata all'essenziale. Al prezzo di € 170 a notte mi sarei aspettato molto di più. Bocciato assolutamente.”

“Really nice hotel and close to the cruise terminals but no AC in the rooms really hot that week but fans were provided to help ease the heat but still to hot to sleep.”

“La struttura e vecchia con un montacarichi che definiscono ascensore. le stanze non vengono mai pulite, soltanto la biancheria del bagno viene cambiata. unico lato positivo e che si trova in una posizione fantastica”

“Bathrooms weren't terrible clean. Rooms were hot with tiny windows. Couldn't get i to my room and called, said they'd send so.eone out and call me when there. 40 minutes later called again and was helped over the phone.. no one arrived or called. Wandered around for ages trying to find the entrance, e entually found a fire es ape that was open and just walked in. The main door is actually numbered no 3.. thought this was a room.. no signs saying Brookval guest house.”

“Terrible. Not at all as advertised. Front door was unlocked and open on arrival. Room door was open on arrival and unlockable. Room window was damaged and stuck wide-open, completely unclosable. I called the contact number and had no answer and received no call back. I arrived towards midnight at the property and still chose not to stay here.”

“Building site, semi naked men drinking and lighting bonfires in the car park, litter everywhere! After waiting nearly 2hrs in 30° heat to get in our room, we booked elsewhere”
