Zero communication from the property owners. They don’t respond to the VRBO app messages, unlike every single owner I’ve ever dealt with. No email communication. The phone number listed is in German. Good luck with that…I ended up being stranded in Paris with little children. Standing there on the sidewalk with nobody answering the phone. I ended up paying an EXORBITANT amount to find a replacement to stay. Paris is a very expensive place to stay when booking the same day. VRBO as a company was responsive and helped me to understand my options. I have no issues with VRBO as a company and will continue to book with confidence on their platform. The property owner needs to resolve their very poor communication with the VRBO system and generally overall. Beyond horrible experience, that cost me way above my budget. I don’t like to give poor reviews, but you should be aware that this needs to be addressed before you book.
